Naltrexone is a drug that was developed in the '70's for the treatment of heroin addiction. A NYC neurologist named Dr. Bernard Bihari was the first to observe that HIV patients who were taking naltrexone had reduced incidence of Kaposi's sarcoma. Supported by animal research done by two Penn State scientists, Dr. Bihari began the first clinical trial of naltrexone in HIV patients and demonstrated that low doses of naltrexone appeared to improve immune function in these patients.

Very good book and interesting material to learn more about low dose naltrexone. A non-toxic medicine that helped me recover from several chronic illnesses.
A must-read for recovering from illness.
