The "I look up to..." series has some great women to look up to. This one, I was a little soap disappointed in because it never tells the reader who Misty Copeland is. It just tells the admirable things she is. The back cover tells us that she's a dancer, but not much more about her.

It doesn't say that she was the first African American principal dancer for ABT. It actually doesn't contain any history. It's just a board book about good characteristics. Illustrations are nice though and I think 2 pages are actual quotes
