Life was chaotic and unpredictable; made up of a series of events—a collection of firsts.
First crush.
First kiss.
First love.

Between the murky waters, I’d found salvation. And it was all because of him—the broody alpha who appeared at the time I needed him most.
He promised me things, and showed me the life I could have.
But all it took was one moment to destroy everything.

Again five pink-blue stars for Lola and Brody 💖💙!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I'm speechless.

Yeah, that is what this duet did to you after you've finished reading both books.

If I say to you, that I was reading this book until three in the morning, it'll be that enough for you to read them 😭?

I thought that the first book was perfect, but when I've finished reading "Down Fall" there was nothing better than this one.

So, this duet is fantastic and you need to read it.

Now, I'm waiting for Cade's story 😍😍😍!

Highly recomme

Here I am again...
Heart meet Lola and Brody.
Aww you think they are a good couple?
You want to see them walk in the sunshine and live happily ever after?
Well too FUCKING bad...
And here I was thinking that maybe, just maybe Davies would take a little pity on my heart. Especially after how she fucking slaughtered me with how Lola and Brody's story started in the first part of this duet. But, apparently the sweet loving Davies said "FUCK THAT" and decided to go in for the kill. I mean really I shoul

This picked up right where we left off with a shock that completely destroys Lola. But I was so proud of Lola from the first page in how she continued to fight for herself. She wasn’t easily broken. She stayed focused and had internal strength to go on. You go girl! But you can only take so much. She continued to get the brunt of everything. She couldn’t catch a break. My heart ripped so much for her. You are going to need tissues! The tears, the pain and agony. She suffered but her bravery and ...more

After that shocking twist that left us hanging in Free Fall I could not wait to find out what happened net. After I picked my jaw up off the floor I dove right in and devoured Down Fall. I read this book in one sitting and when it was all over, I wanted more. Not because it left me unsatisfied but because I loved Brody and Lola so much that I never wanted it to end. The next day I was left with a major book hangover, and went back to read some of my favorite parts. Tha

Abigail Davies, I swear, you have me as an author stalker for LIFE!
Down Fall is the finale to Lola & Brody's story.
You meet Lola and Brody in the first part to this duet, called Free Fall.
Those of you who have read the story, you all know how Free Fall's cliffhanger just about killed us.
This book starts off with Lola and Brody's separation. Lola isn't sure who Brody is anymore. She manages to leave Hut's house and find an apartment for herself, but she doesn't tell anyone where she is goin

Down Fall is the conclusion to the Fallen Duet, so in case you didn't get the memo, you CANNOT read it without reading Free Fall FIRST! I'm a BIG fan of Abigail Davies, but even I was very leery on how she was going to right the ship after the HUGE cliffhanger that she left me with, as it was brutal. I mean, I tried to come up with ways that would make me feel better, because frankly, Brody not only broke Lola's heart, but he pissed me off completely. And the hits didn't stop coming right out of ...more

We pick up right where Lola and Brody left off in the first half of this duet. Lola is shattered, Brody is in deep trouble (moral and emotional), more trouble is closing in on all sides, and it seems like there isn’t ANY way out of the mess Brody made. He has to fix his personal life, fix the woman he loves, take down the bad guy, and prove that he’s a good bet for others to take. Can he do it?

Lola is just trying to move on. She’s never been enough for anyone, so why should her present be any d

Having just finished Free Fall, it wasn't hard to get stuck into this book. It picked up exactly where the first book left off. Finding out that Brody wasn't who he said he was.Lola felt her life was going down the pan. She found it so hard to come to terms with that Brody had been lying to her this whole time, did that mean he had lied about his feelings for her. She could only think that everything had been a lie and she was heart broken. She felt so used at just playing a part f

This duet is very well done! I knew based on the end of book one that I wouldn’t be able to cheer on this couple fully due to personal preference, but I still had to know how their story ended. I was so torn! I didn’t want to like them. I completely disagreed with the decisions they made, and yet I couldn’t put it down!

To say this book is high on drama would be an understatement. There is one thing after the next, but it was done in a way that kept me on the edge of my seat rather than making me

This is the second part in the Fallen Duet series and boy is it as equally amazing as the first!
Once again you’re sucked into the lives of Lola and Brody and taken on an incredible emotional rollercoaster of a ride! Abigail Davies really knows how to make you feel exactly the way her characters do and has a way of bringing her characters to life. Another beautifully written book that had me on the edge of my seat most of the time; be that either because I was fanning myself over the steaminess b

Omg this book!! I was fortunate enough to get an ARC of this story!! I have been waiting patiently or not so patiently for this to come out. This duet picks up right where Free Fall leaves off, Lola is devistated, and Brody is in deep trouble his emotions are all over he place, all he wants is to be with Lola nut she's totally ignoring him.., and rightfully so he has a wife and kid a whole different life than he's been living the past 6 months.

And there's more trouble in the works...

After the shock twist at the end of Free Fall, I didn't think my little heart could take any more, but apparently I'm a sucker for punishment. I dove in to Down Fall, hoping for a happy ending for Lola and Brody but did they get it??

Picking up exactly where Free Fall ended, with Lola's life upside down after finding out Brody isn't who she thought he was. Now she has to work out if anything that happened between her and Brody was true or was he just using her. One thing she knows for sure, she

So, did anyone else want to punch Brody right in the face at the beginning of this one? I sure did, and I felt that way for a decent portion of the first half of this book. Ah, but here's the rub, I also felt a little sorry for him. Not because of his actions because I certainly didn't agree with those, but there's just something about him that made my heart go out to him despite what he'd done. Then, there's Lola. She's young and has been through so much that for her to trust in the first place ...more

Starts where Free Fall ended with Lola devastated, not knowing how she didn’t see it, the signs were there. She hates liars and he was one with how he deceived her. She’s going to keep to her plan and she’s going to make herself happy, even if it’s without Brody.
Finally, away from Hut, hearing Brody at her door, she shouldn’t have but she opened it. With the news she just found out she needed him, she saw his eyes, but his words shattered her, and he told her love wasn’t enough for them, all Lol

Oh this book was amazing. It had me on the edge of my seat not knowing what was going to happen when it came to Lola and Brody. The ups and downs that they faces, the laughter and tears..... I was so glad to see them get their HEA. It wasn’t an easy road for them but it was great. With amazing secondary characters that helped move the story forward, a plot that got better and better as this journey went, I was hooked from the start and read it in one sitting.

When we met Brody in Free Fall we thought that the biggest secret he had was his undercover assignment but the cliff hanger left us knowing that the next secret to be revealed will devastate Lola to the core. She is left reeling, questioning her judgment when it comes to her life and those she allows in it, but her strength and resilience shines through which only has wanting her to have her happy ever after that much more.

Although it broke his heart to do so Brody had a choice to make and that

After the ending to Falling Down, I was so excited to read this book to see what happened next.
Well let me tell you that Abigail Davies does not disappoint in this book. I have just finished it and my head is in a tail spin 🙀🙀

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

The second book to Abigail Davies Fallen Duet and it had me feeling EVERYTHING! Down Fall starts where things pretty much finish off from the first book and the story progressed farther than I expected and didn't turn out the way I expected. Now, that is not to say it didn't turn out good, but the journey to the end was wrought with many trials, and feelings and twists I never saw coming. What a stunner!

Lola is finally finding her way. She know what she wants and is working toward getting out and away. Brody is now exposed and has no idea where to go from here. As the story grows we find out more of the why and how to realize things aren't as they appear. Lola doesn't wait though. She holds her head up and goes forward doing what she needs to break free. But Hut isn't going to let her go easily and it may get deadly, especially if he finds out her secret. Action and intrigue, betrayal and surpr ...more

Thank GOD

I finally got to read the second half of this duet.

It picks up where the first book (free fall) ended, with Lola finding out Brodys secret. Well his many secrets.

Heartbroken she gets on with only relying on herself, getting away from Hut and his crew, she starts her new life.
But it’s not that simple, Brody is still around and Hut is now growing more and more desperate to get her back, and to get deals sorted. Brody tries to make amends with Lola but now she has a secret of her own.

So I will openly admit I have not been a cliffhanger lover. Ugh this two parter might have change that. Book two of the Fallen Duet follows suit of the first book. It is riddled with high octane moments that kept me on the edge of my seat paired with the sweeter/softer side, providing a front row seat to delving into all the relationships.

Lola continues to be my girl. She is so full of strength and has managed to live through some really awful things. What is most impressive, she has kept her h

Down fall by Abigail Davies is book 2 in the fallen duet.

Down fall continues were free fall left off.
Lola ended up finding out what brody was hiding. She cant catch a break and goes through a lot of things girls her age shouldnt be going through.

Brody at times did irritate me but he was there for lola when she needed him the most. Im glad her brother met the ending he deserved. I cant say anymore without reveling spoilers.

Down Fall by Abigail Davies is book Two in the Fallen Duet. This continues the story of the story of Lola and Brody, so you really need to read the previous book 'Free Fall' to fully enjoy this book.
This book starts where we left off in the Free Fall. Lola is struggling to deal with what she learned about Brody and trying to move forward. But that isn't easy feeling wise or with her past coming back. Brody knows that he has hurt Lola beyond repair but he can't seem to let her go.

Another 5 stars for this amazing author: Abigail Davis

Wow Down Fall book 2 and the final part to Brody & Lola's epic rollercoaster story, does not disappoint in anyway.

Picking up right where we were left at the end of part 1, this story keeps slamming you with massive hits, twists and leaves you screaming, crying, smiling and then re-thinking all that you thought you knew after reading part 1, but we do get all the answers we have been patently waiting for.
