Mom of two rockin' girls, Reader of everything, Author of The Dragon Guards series and many more surprises to come!

I am a sarcastic, sometimes foul-mouthed, not afraid to drink a beer, always southern woman with 2 of the most amazing teenage daughters,
a menagerie of animals and a voracious appetite for reading who recently decided to write the storied running through her brain. I read my first book, Dr Suess' Cat in The Hat by myself at 4 and was hooked.
I believe a good book along with shoes, makeup and purses will never let a girl down and that all heroes of all the books
I have ever read or will ever write pale in comparison to my daddy! I am a sucker for a happy ending and love some hot sweaty sex with a healthy dose of romance.
I am still working on my story but believe it will contain all of the above with as much SPICE as I can work into it. CHEERS!

Miss Julia does it again.
Sable has been held against his will and tortured for decades..By the Overlords and one crazy badass witch.
He finally is able to escape and is found by Lore. a white Siberian tigress.
Can they get him completely away? Or will the Overlords get him back and be able to get the great secret he holds within? Or will the great Paladin warrior and his lady win?
Awesome new read by Miss Julia..Love her dragons

Minka, Lore’s roommate and a snow leopard shifter, barges into Lore’s bedroom in a panic:
“There's a dead man in our Clinic. Not an animal. Not a bird. Not even a reptile or a f*cking fish. A. Man.”
Lore quickly assuages Minka’s concerns, by pointing out he ISN’T a man, or rather, not JUST a man. No, he’s a dragon shifter... and not JUST a dragon shifter, but a Paladin... Lore had discovered him frozen while on walkabout in her white Siberian Tiger form. Fascinated with her discovery, Lore had retrieved the frozen dragon from the tundra and brought him back to her lab.

Sable Lauder was beaten, battered and bruised, barely clinging to life. But somehow, Lore was... helping him, healing him... after an eternity of torment and torture at the hands of the Overlords, Sable was finally free... free to join his clan and the Ancestors above, as his Dragon King, Herne, the other half of his soul, had already faded away... but Lore is his mate, and Hope, fickle bitch that she is, won’t let him give up....

Broken in body, shattered of mind, Sable doesn’t know what’s reality and what’s fantasy, but he does know he MUST protect his mate, his Lore...

Wowza, what a tale! Action packed and full of danger, Sable and Lore leap off the pages and into your heart! Loved it!

4.5 stars. Wonderful that this author is returning to what first drew me in to her DG world.
We have read Stone’s story in DRAGON HER HOME. Now it is time for his twin Sable to tell what horrors he has endured at the hands of the despicable overlords since he was 13 years old.
I did enjoy the extra baddie twist in this book.
I just love that Ms Mills is going back to the origins of the Dragon Guard plus giving us lots of special treats in this story.
No spoilers but someone special from the past returns and we go to somewhere only ever spoken off.
Loralei/Lori was an interesting heroine, super smart and capable.
Poor Sable, what he has gone through just defies explanation. His fractured mind is totally understandable.
Love how this plays out and who we get to meet.
This is my honest review of this book kindly offered to me but read through Kindle Unlimited.

I own all the books in this.series.and.this.isthe best one yet. I loved that the heroine was so strong, capable and confident. Also that the hero even while dealing with his "issues" still loved and protects the people most important in his life. LOVED IT!

REVIEW
This book just wow.
We get Lore who is Zachary' granddaughter and her best friend Minka who is hilarious, they both work with animals in some form or shape. But Lore has kept something... someone... secret but the secret is out. Lore doesn't want what the fates are throwing her way and she knows only a matter of time before it grabs her and doesn't let go.

He knew she was his the minute he took in her predators' eyes. But how could that be? He was too broken for her. Wasn't he?

Can Lore rescue Sable in more ways than one?
Or will he perish?

A strong story, romance, action and it kept my eyes on the pages.

Dragon Lore, Julia Mills

I've been waiting to read Sable's story since finishing Stone's story, I knew it would be another great addition to the Dragon Guard series!. As far as I'm concerned, I wasn't mistaken!
Sable a granite, Palladin Dragon has spent decades being tortured to the brink of Death for a secret he holds in his soul. Forced to cut himself off from his twin brother, his family and his clan he barely survives. Following events set in place by his twin he manages to escape the horrors of being held captive, to be found by his mate.
All I can say is keep writing Ms Julia and I will definitely keep reading your Dragon Guard books!

I love, love, love the Dragon Guard series and this is book thirty-nine in that series. We watch as Lore starts the book dealing with a freaking out room mate, and realizing exactly who/what the person she retrieved the frozen dragon from the tundra and brought back to her lab was. This book was action packed and the suspense wrapped around Sabel and Lore kept me on the edge of my seat. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book

WONDERFUL ROMANCE💚

Such a lovely romantic tale at the end. But heaps of angst, torture and unbelievably horrible things happen to this dragonman first. In true Julia Mills fashion the kin arrive like the cavalry and much fighting evil commences. I felt it was a beautiful true mate story❣

Tiger and her Dragon

Awesome! Totally fantastic hot read. Fantastic story I couldn't put the book down to I finished reading it. The story opens up more stories can't wait for them to come. This was such an emotional story and had me on pins and needles. I wanted to reach in and give him a hug and her too but what a fantastic ending surprises are coming.

Sable has struggled with the secret he keeps. Lore doesn't know if she can trust what her heart is telling her. Together they must defeat ancient evil. Will Sable overcome his past? Will Lore learn to trust Fate?

Was so excited for another Julia Mills book and it didn't disappoint! I didn't blame Sable for being hesitant after everything he had gone through, but loved how regardless he was protective of Lore. I loved how Lore was determined to fight beside her man and was determined to not be the "little woman". Great read and cannot wait for the next Dragon Guard book!

A book in the EPIC DRAGON GUARD series a well written story I was not putting down until I finished reading it. So we say a very late night early morning like four aclock. Sable had so much he went through and the witch was not finished with him. Lore found his frozen body and brought him back to her lab where things got interesting, this was one very strong willed woman. They have a lot to go through before they get their happy ending. I recommend this book if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I read a copy through KU and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another dragon tale

This one contained where Stone’s story ends, with his brother Sable being rescued. Although it’s been so long and he’s been so abused, it takes him awhile to realize it.
Some old friends return to help out, and there are some big hints to future stories.
I can hardly wait!

Another Great book. A must read

Sable was tortured for centuries. Lore find him buried in the snow. The thing they have to go through is something else. But the love of your mate will make all evil go away.

Sooooooo good!

Sweet Jesus, this book was like riding a roller coaster while blindfolded and wearing a mini skirt. It has been a while since we had a full book and I can say it was worth the wait... Now I only need to read about Sidney meeting her parents again.... When? Where? How?

This is an OK shifter romance, but it was confusing at times. It is fairly short, so maybe there wasn't room for better explanations, but Lore's power was never fully explained. She was obviously very powerful, but what exactly were her powers, and why did she have them?

The story also kept saying that Sable was a Paladin Warrior, but it never really explained what that was, and how it was different from other Dragon Guardsmen. And who had captured/tortured him? And what exactly was the secret he carried?

Sable and Lore were OK, but I did feel like they were more in lust than in love. I get that shifters love their mates immediately, but I just didn't buy that they knew each other well enough to be in love -- especially since Sable was so badly damaged by his years of torture.

One other thing bothered me, and this is minor. Sable is supposed to be Stone's identical twin, yet the pictures on the cover of this book and of Stone's book show men who don't look anything at all alike. I might not have noticed if I hadn't read the books close together, but it seemed like an obvious mistake to me.

My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Sable

A 178 pages these books are never as long as they look always showing previous books that you have read.why would you read a random one in the middle when clearly there are 45 books in this series.I liked the wedding in this one a little different (thank god) I find myself scrolling it now.and the sex ....oh...oh...name inserted...oh..oh...name inserted...oh...I need you now...really how many more books the same.at least this one felt different kind of.
I like this series I like the storyline and each story for each character are mostly different following the basic main storyline.the reason I have marked this series down is because to much repeat and a little messy in series in series jumping from different places with different groups then adding more and the ending epilogue do not always follow next book.(I'm lucky all 45 books are out now so I'm reading back to back,in unlimited) so maybe I notice more because it's fresh in my head but it's frustrating.

Dargon Guard and Paladin Sable has been held prisoner and tortured by the Overlords and then a very evil witch, he's found by Lore frozen in the snow. He's kept the ancient secret he was entrusted with safe but having recognised that Lore is his mate he has a dilemma - can he survive in order to follow their fates or will he continue to be tortured and badgered for the secret. He can only hope that by some miracle Lore is able to rescue him and that he or they can finally gain his freedom.

This is a dramatic story that has lots of danger, drama, mental and physical torture and love as Lore and Sable fight for the chance at a future while also keeping the ancient secret safe. However, the evil witch is determined and so it is a case of who has the power and determination to win this war of attrition. Great story that was definitely addictive. Easy to understand and feel.

OMG, what a book this is - an edge-of-your-seat, very emotional and so many twists and turns. This is her best one yet!! Once you start reading you just can't stop!! This is Lore Bransfield (a White Siberian Tigress shifter and a vet) and Sable Lauder (A Guardsman and a Paladin, who is very special as you will see). Lore found Sable encased in ice, freed him and brought him back to her clinic. Sable had been a prisoner of the Overlords for a very long time and had been badly tortured. Now be prepared for the ride of your life!! I just loved Lore and Sable and so will you. I highly recommend and this is a 10 star book. I can't wait to see what is coming next.

*WARNING* contains explicit adult sexual situations
Sable is a Paladin twin to Stone, and thought to be dead. Sable has wished for death many times since he left home and his torture started. Even now Sable us unsure of what is real and what us conjured by his broken mind.
Lore the Tigress found a frozen dragon man and brought him home. Lore felt she had to help him.
Dragon's Lore can be read as a stand alone.
I am glad the twin, Sable is alive and finally recovered. These stories are always interesting, this one more so than some of the others. The imagination put into the with and Sable is incredible. Well written and a great story!

Firsts

Reminiscent of earlier books, this one reads like "more", there's just one thing after another to cope with from beginning to end. I loved its content, characters, attention to detail and seemingly fast pace. The relationships between what appear to be strangers reminded me of "six degrees of separation".
I'm totally immersed in the D.G. "Universe" (as I call it) so, rest assured I will eventually be re-reading ALL again, but for now, I think Lore & Sable's story is my favorite ❤.
