Interesting, and I did learn some new wives tales like Polar Bear liver is amoung the most poisonous things you can eat. I do think that some of the "medical" based one like knuckle cracking and chicken soup for flus really are generalized. Meaning that the research they use is based on such small amounts of people and they use that data to say what will or won't work for everyone... is ridiculous! But overall I liked the book.
Really, really interesting stuff. Sometimes the information was kind of expected... but other times it was jarring because things I learned as a child and never even considered questioning turned out to be false! All around fascinating!
