PICTURE THATThe man she married wasn't who he said he was; in fact, she didn't even know his real name. When he was arrested, and her apartment was broken into, Kenna needed to disappear. She had someone more important to protect. The small town of Pine Mountain, Arizona, felt like the right place to take a break from running. But living in a small town was akin to living in a gold fish bowl. Everyone knew everything about everybody. How could Kenna protect herself and those most important to her? She had to learn to trust again. Was it safe to trust someone with her past? Was Wally that someone? Would he be willing to protect her?
I have enjoyed all of Suzanna Floyd's books and this was no exception. Her mystery is sprinkled with sweet redemption and romance. Her character's are not all they seem to be. Kenna and Wally fall into this category as well.
I really enjoyed this book. It had it all.... suspense, mystery, family and love. I too live in Arizona and recognized the towns when I was browsing for a new read; this is part of what drew me in.
