I told a judge I was engaged to my best friend.
Now we’re faking it.
How hard can it be?

My life has room for exactly two women: my daughter Rusty and my best friend Charlotte — known to everyone as Charlie.

One is a feisty, tomboyish firecracker. The other is my seven-year-old. I can’t imagine life without either.

So when my ex springs a custody hearing on me, I find myself t

I'm such a sucker for a single parent romance and Rusty was just so cute. She's seven going on seventeen and I just loved the way her mind worked. She's one of those kids that needs a village to watch over her and she has that in Daniel's family.

The author did a great job of balancing Rusty with the budding romance of Daniel and Charlie. She wasn't in every scene but you also didn't forget about her when she wasn't. This little girl has so many people in her life that love her to death and you

Best Fake Fiance is a combo of bff to lovers and fake engagements, toss in a dash of single dad. Daniel is oh so serious and tries to keep control everywhere, but it seems he was a little wild when he was younger. Charlie, his friend turned fiance, is like a whirlwind. Always late, but up for almost anything, with a big heart. They both love on his little girl and she's priority number one.

I cried a bit through this story- the custody struggle broke my heart, and whenever Daniel and Charlie fou

As a relatively new reviewer, I love receiving information about new authors. Roxie Noir is a new author to me, and I was excited to read her newest book, Best Fake Fiance. Now, I have to admit. I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the title. It’s not the most original. However, the blurb had me interested in the “friends-to-lovers” and “fake fiance” tropes. I will admit that “friends-to-lovers” is not my most favorite trope to read. It’s pretty far down on my list, but there w

Definitely my new top favorite read!!! I absolutely loved everything about Daniel and Charlie!

description

When Daniel is in danger of losing custody of his daughter, he does something completely out of character. He lies to the judge. Suddenly he’s engaged to his best friend Charlotte. Small town gossip being what it is, their plans to keep their fake engagement just between them goes up in flames before the afternoon is over. Now he’s juggling not only the lies, but his feelings for Charlie.

Charlie can’t l

One sentence summary: Single dad, Daniel, is in need of a fake fiance; and who's better to play that part than his lifelong best friend?

First thought: I was hooked on the first page and at 15% in, this book was exactly what I needed. I had started, paused, and DNFed multiple books before getting this ARC and then I finished Best Fake Fiance in less than 24 hours!

Why I read it: I requested this ARC because it's my favorite trope!

POV: First Person Present Tense, Alternating M|F

Setting: Small To

This book is GOOD. As in, I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading it, and I cannot count how many times I laughed. It’s so sweet and lighthearted, with plenty of chemistry, countless sexy times and super funny inner monologues. I’ve never read anything by this author before but I will definitely be changing that. I absolutely loved this story about two people who have been best friends for most of their lives, and it just takes one (major) lie to finally bring them together.

Best Fake Fiancé combines a couple of my favourite tropes: single dad, best friends to lovers, fake relationships…
So naturally, I loved it.
We met Daniel, Charlie and Rusty in book one ‘Enemies with Benefits’ and you could just tell that Daniel and Charlie could be amazing together. Best friends since they were little, they’ve grown up together and seen each other through some tough times. Namely Rusty. Rusty is Daniels seven year old daughter who has a psycho for a mother and loves random animal

Daniel and Charlie and little Rusty.

I loved these three. We seen little snippets of these in the first Loveless book, Enemies with Benefits and I was happy their book was next. I absolutely adore Rusty. She is so cute. And I can't wait to see more of her in future books.

Daniel is a single father, who owns a brewery with his brother Seth. He's had Rusty since she was a year or so old. He's become so protective of her and has seemed to have forgotten all that he did as a child. He loves his daugh

As always Roxie Noir slays one of my favourite tropes: Single Dad.
She weaved magic and gave us Best Fake Fiance.

This book is about Daniel, a single father of a seven-year-old who has had custody of his daughter Rusty since she was a year old, her mother wasn't a mother in my opinion... By the end of chapter one, I wanted to punch her in the face. After so many years away from his ex, she is taking him to court to try and get Rusty back in her custody. She seems to think she has her life on track

I really enjoyed this story!! I absolutely loved the characters. This is the second book in the series but it can be read as a stand alone. We get to read about another brother finding/figuring out his love life. I love the Loveless brothers and can't wait for more of them. If you haven't read the first book and brother you will want to after this one.
We get to know Rusty and Daniel really well in this story, along with Charlie. I absolutely love the dynamics between them! Rusty is an adorable,

I loved everything about this book. I fell in love with Rusty, Charlie, and Daniel in Enemies With Benefits, and even more so in this book. You see their close friendship in that book, and it continues in this one, but when Daniel asks Charlie a favor of being his fake fiance, it goes beyond the scope of it. You can read these as standalones, but I lIke to read them in order so you get the full backstory of characters. And these sure are some characters. I am absolutely in love with Rusty. That ...more

This book...it had me saying y'all and itching to go sliding down rocks into creeks...a thing I never even knew existed before last night!

Let me start by saying I loved Best Fake Fiance. Books with kids aren't usually my first choice (I have 3 of my own, so you know, I'm surrounded by little kids All.The.Time!), but I loved Enemies With Benefits, the first book in this series, so much I had to read this one. And Roxie didn't let me down!

Boy am I happy that another Loveless brother book has arrived! Daniel Loveless is the middle brother. For some reason, I love a great single dad novel (especially one with Levi Stocke on the cover)! There's just something so special about a single guy stepping up (maybe just because I was raised by my own awesome single dad). Roxie Noir gives us major single dad yummies with Best Fake Fiance!

Daniel didn't mean to lie to the judge, really! It just sort of came out when the judge starting looking like he agreed with all his ex could now "offer" their daughter. Did it seem to matter that sh

5 Star Review of Best Fake Fiance (Loveless Brothers #2) by Roxie Noir
Roxie Noir is a new author to me and I have no idea why that is. Based on this book I will certainly be reading more from Ms. Noir as soon as I can. Although book 2 in the series, I had no trouble reading this as a stand alone.

Best Fake Fiancé is a fun single father/fake engagement/best friends to lovers romance. Daniel Loveless is an overprotective father who would do anything to keep his daughter, so when his baby mama threatens to get full custody the first thing he thinks of is to tell the judge he is engaged. Not just engaged, but to his best friend.

I loved Daniel and Charlie’s relationship. These two were best friends who literally did everything together, spent a lot of their free time together, but they never

These Loveless brothers are something else, and I freaking love it! I adored Best Fake Fiance and give it a 4.5 outta 5 for it's wonderful story line, plot, characters, and chemistry!

Daniel Loveless seems to have been caught in an orbit the past 6 years in which his daughter has been the center of it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but when he is faced with the chance that he might loose her, he lied to the judge saying that he was engaged.... to his best friend Charlie. Charlie wo

I’m really enjoying this series. This author has the way of making her characters so realistic that you feel you know them. This story fits so many different subjects. Romance, rom com, sexy and family. Daniel and Charlie are meant to be together. From their childhood when they met their friendship stood the test of time. Daniel was faced with a daughter from one of his wilder times. Yet he did the right thing and steps up to be the good parent. Daniel and Charlie’s personalities are so opposite ...more

This story starts out with Daniel going to court because his daughter's mother wants her visitation schedule increased, or at least that what he thinks is going to happen. Instead, he's hit out of nowhere with her wanting full custody of Rusty, his adorable tiny human. Now see, I'm usually on the mother's side, unless said mother gets child taken away by child services like Rusty was, and how Daniel found out about her. He's also blindsided by the fact that his daughter's mother usually cancels ...more

This is a best friends to lovers romance which is a trope I like a lot. Our best friends are Daniel and Charlotte aka Charlie. Daniel's in a bind and a little nervous so he tells a little lie...in court...to the judge...at his daughters custody/visitation hearing but it's going to be ok because Charlie always has his back. She will do anything for Daniel and Rusty. This is no exception but,of course, things get complicated.

The writing is awesome, as usual for this author. All of the characters a

Best Fake Fiance, book two in the new Loveless Brothers series by Roxie Noir follows the characters of Charlotte “Charlie” McManus and Daniel Loveless, and his six year old daughter Rusty. The Loveless Brothers are back!!! I really loved this story, it was fun and entertaining. This is Daniel and Charlie's story. Daniel is smart, got a head on his shoulders and tries to always be in control and a little overprotective. Yet I understand why Daniel is like he is, when he is thrown into fatherhood, he stepped up, he's just doing the best that he can. Charlie is the chaos in Daniel's life. I love writing sexy, alpha men and the headstrong women they fall for.

My weaknesses include: beards, whiskey, nice abs with treasure trails, sarcasm, cats, prowess in the kitchen, prowess in the bedroom, forearm tattoos, and gummi bears.
