Noah Becker is nothing but trouble.

That’s what Mama told me when I was a kid, kicking his pew in church and giggling at the games we’d play. It’s what the town said when his father died and the Becker brothers went wild.

And it’s on repeat in my mind the day I walk into the whiskey distillery where he works to buy a wedding gift for my fiancé.

He’s trouble.

ON THE ROCKS: Is a full length, small town stand alone romance novel by Kandi Steiner. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives'.

A slow burn cute summer days read!! Books like this are my weakness, from friends to lovers, a bit of drama, a little bit of angst, to swoony moments, throw in a few sighs, a small town, and get ready to fall in love with our hero like I did. He got my hear

"Anyone can lead an ordinary life. . But the best adventures are reserved for the ones brave enough to be extraordinary”.

There is something about small town romance that gives us all of the feels. Whether it’s the knowledge that some of these characters have known each other since they were kids, or the fact that there’s this unexplainable type of connection with the most of the residents in the small town or the love you feel when these characters stand up for you. Either way, there’s some

Everything was perfect, and if you asked any of my friends, they’d say I was the luckiest girl in Tennessee. So then why did it feel like I was drowning?

To a certain extent, Ruby Grace Barnett’s path in life was set before she was old enough to have a say in the matter. The daughter of the town mayor, she always knew politics was in her future. Whether as the wife of a politician or running for office herself, Ruby Grace envisioned herself spending her life helping others and giving b

OMGGGGG! All the sweet, all the swoon, all the feels! I fell hopelessly in love with Noah and Ruby! Every moment of their beautiful romance gave me feels. I melted, swooned, cried, laughed, and swooned more. It’s a dreamy, sweet, heartfelt story with the perfect touch of angst that ruined me. Such an incredible start to a series (each book is a stand-alone, featuring a new couple). The Becker brothers are BEYOND yummy, and I can’t say enough good things about On the Rocks. “Well, I’ve heard some of the best adventures come from finding yourself a little lost.”

Kandi Steiner is one of my all time favourite authors and when you mix that with a small town, angsty slow burning romance, I am guaranteed to love it. Kandi’s writing is always flawless with her well thought out plots and her well-developed characters who always take me on a journey that is positively unforgettable. On the Rocks drew me in from the very first word right up until the last. I read this in

Loved it! This is by far Kandi's best novel to date. An engaging forbidden age-gap, slow burn romance with low angst that'll keep you turn pages after pages.

I love the slow building of characters, not just Noah and Ruby Grace but for the rest of the Becker brothers since all of them will have a book of their own. Woohoo!

The Dual POV is one of the key points in making this book an amazing read because in my opinion, one could only be completely satisfied if both perspective were shared

And promise to
Give all I've got to give

A love as true as mine” -George Strait

Those lyrics truly encompass the very core of this story. I didn’t know in the direction this story would go and I will say it wasn’t what I thought, but I was not at all surprised. And in actuality, it was the best way it could’ve gone. It was everything and perfect.

As I finished up On The Rocks I realized that I am really, really looking forward to getting to know the rest Becker men; Logan, Michael, and Jordan. But first, with On The Rocks, we have the privilege of getting to know Noah Becker, a man who is hotter than Hades in a rugged cowboy way. You know the type and you can’t help but love it. I could picture him so clearly in my mind. Thank you for that Kandi Steiner! And thank you for kicking off a new series with a sweet, small town, sexy, and sligh ...more

Ruby Grace Barnett is a brat. There I said it. I didn’t like her from the get-go, yet somehow by the end of the book, she had grown on me. Probably, because Noah, who I did love from the get-go, loved her and that gave her some redeeming qualities in my eyes.

This story of the good girl and the boy from the wrong side of the tracks is somewhat predictable and a really, really slow burn. The push and pull between Noah and Ruby Grace while somewhat entertaining began to get on my nerves at some poi

Kandi Steiner is everything. Her books are everything. Her writing is everything. She knows how to paint a picture and make you feel like you have been dropped into a book right next to these characters, she makes it feel like they are your friends. When you dive into one of her books you don't even want to come out for air.

Oh my gosh. What can I even say about this book to do it enough justice? I was happy, I was pissed off, I experienced deep heartache, I laughed, I cried. I did all the things. And it was amazing.

Kandi Steiner's books do this thing where you get all egotistical thinking you know what's going to happen. You're like, I'm going to read this and love it but I know this thing is g

Again, Kandi Steiner delivers a heartwarming romance that leaves you with such powerful feelings.

Ruby Rose is back in her hometown to plan her wedding to an ambitious politician in just 6 weeks. She may only be nineteen but as the mayor's daughter, it's what she was raised to do. Marry a powerful man from money to stand beside him and do charity work as she always wanted to. And her fiancé, Anthony is a nice man, their relationship one of those college fairytales.

I just found myself captivated by this story. I laughed, cursed and cheered for Noah and Ruby, a book that leaves me with a bittersweet feeling as I reach the end of the story and have to say goodbye to these characters. And I hadn't read a book that had left me with this feeling for some time.

I think in On The Rock above all else is the story of Ruby and her discovering herself, taking charge of her life and throughout it finding love. And I think that was the beauty of the book for m

On The Rocks is amazing. I swear I have never read a bad book written by Kandi Steiner and I start jumping in my seat the minute one hits my kindle. I’ll be honest when I write that this book is not what I was expecting. Kandi Steiner has a gift in creating remarkable and swoony characters to fall in love with and the perfect setting to match with. But this book is just not my cup of tea.

The plot is predictable from the beginning. It may have been my personal preference that made me not comfortable with the fact that the heroine is young and engaged to another man.

For the most part, she seemed quite happy with the arrangement. Until she wa

This small town romance was perfectly sweet and set my heart pitter-patting. When home-town boy Noah is struck by the beauty, poise, and kindness of Miss Ruby Grace Barnett, it is only a matter of time before he realizes she is the one. She is the girl he didn’t believe existed. She is the girl who will make the perfect wife, be the perfect dance partner, and be the perfect team mate. Now if only Ruby Grace can see it, too, before she walks down the aisle to be all those things for another man.

‘On The Rocks’ is the new book by Kandi Steiner, and like all of Steiner’s books, it didn’t take long for me to become obsessed with Noah Becker and Ruby Grace Barnett.

I absolutely freaking loved that the book was set around a whiskey distillery. It was unique, intriguing and put a different spin on a romance book for me.

The book is about Ruby, a young girl who is betrothed to the next political representative Anthony. Her mind says he’s everything she should want, after all, he’s successful, ha
