Taming the Dragon Series Dragon His Heels Hungry Like A Dragon Dragon in Denial
Ketu Ormarr hasn't been home since his sister's death to drugs given to her by the Alpha's son. He was tasked with bringing down his new Alpha's mother who was a big drug dealer. While in his home town he renewed his relationship with his sister's friend Antoinette who is a secret vigilante.
Can these two childhood friends reconcile and accept that they are fated mates? I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The ups. downs, secrets and misunderstanding will draw you in. I voluntarily chose to read an advance copy and have not been compensated in any way for my honest opinion. Judge it for yourself maybe you will find that you agree.
Dragon in Denial Ketu Ormarr knows New Orleans. He left over ten years ago when his beloved sister, Eulalie, wasted away from the Dragons Blood drug. He could not save her, he tried and failed. He is directed by his Reeve clan leader to find the witch/dragon hybrid (the clan leader’s mother, it’s complicated) and stop the drug trade using dragon’s blood. He did not tell his clan leader why he had not been back. After ten years he is walking into his parents’ home seeing his parents. His mom overjoyed to see her son feeds him some amazing sounding food. Seriously, you want to sit right down and eat too. He finds that his parents taken in his sisters’ best friend and her son. Antoinette Dupre lives with his parents and has a four-year-old adorable son. Yet she is not mated. She looks good. Ketu is working with a gargoyle to locate the source of the drug trade and find this witch distributing it. He comes across Antoinette working as a one-person vigilante. This has to stop; she has a son to think about and raise. Ketu and Antoinette must work together and try to resist the attraction. Add in a precious four-year-old boy. There is fun and clever dialog, be prepared to some twists and turns. Will Ketu stay in New Orleans or will he return to Detroit? Don’t miss this one it is a great third installment of the Taming of the Dragon Series.
This a series that just gets better the more you read and this was a great addition each of the books are relatively short but you are not short changed in anyway by there length Always a sign of a great writer when in a short book you become invested in the characters Ketu is a dragon with baggage he left his clan under mysterious conditions but now he has been given the job of finding out about the trade in dragon blood. Along the way he comes across Antoinette she is also trying to get to the bottom of the trade These two had been childhood friends When they meet again the attraction is mutual but she has a son to protect and he is protecting his heart Do they have a future together You will have to read to see
Dragon Ketu Ormarr skipped his hometown 10 years ago after his sister was killed by drug addiction. Now he is back with a mission from his new leader - to take down the drug trade that is plaguing the dragon colony for years. However, having re-established contact with his late sister's best friend Antoinette Dupré more items have been added to his to-do list - avenge his sister's death and protect Antoinette and her son (while trying not to fall in love with her). Simple surely?
I loved this story which had a great mixture of drama, danger and love. I liked the reversal of roles at the end and that the mates eventually came to their senses and did what was necessary. Well written and easy to understand, this was a good dragon shifter story.
Ketu has an important mission in his old hometown. I was a little frustrated with Ketu at first as he is really stubborn and doesn't want to admit the truth about his feelings for Antoinette and assumes the worst about her. I admired Antoinette. She was determined to do what was right but had hard feelings as he had left his hometown after his sister's death and abandoned her and his parents. Her life had never been easy.
The story picked up the most for me when other characters from the series made their appearance. I love the interactions between them. His mother is also a great character who adds flavor to the story.
I have read all of this series, so I admit to having a somewhat vested interest in this story, but it surpassed my expectations. I really like these characters. Ketu has baggage but I think he’s matured and he’s worked on himself not run amuck screwing everything with a skirt. Antoinette May have made a mistake or two but she has her son and is strong for him and her beliefs. Yeah, I love this friends to lovers story, if you like females with “balls” you will too.
A very good story in this series! The author knows how to give the readers a good read in a short story with characters you get to know. You get their background and get to know them. Childhood friends meet again but the past and present clash, now these 2 need to work together to maybe have a future. There are your favorites from the other books and some others you want to get to know better. A must read!
Didn't take me long to whip theu this read because I just couldn't put it down. There was action and drama and I always love it when the bad guys lose, or maybe one wins. I am not sure how to look at that.
There were many times I found myself laughing and crying as I read this book, but I still couldn't put it down. You could feel everyone's emotions flowing from the page, and honestly the ending was a surprise, but I loved it.
Gabe is determined to stop the dragon blood trade. He sends Ketu to New Orleans to find Delilah and put a stop to her business. Ketu returns to his family's home after ten years and reconnects with childhood friend Antionette to take down the trade once and for all and maybe along the way find happiness. A great read that will have you captivated from the start all the way to the finish. I volunteered to read this book.
Ketu is sent to discover more with the dragon blood trade. Only, he left out the circumstances he left home and returning is not easy for him. Antoinette is trying to take down the dealers by herself and does not end Ketu's misunderstanding. The book continues from where the previous let off and the background is as interesting as how they move forward. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
A very interesting and entertaining read. Plenty of intrigue, suspense, action, and of course steamy romance to keep you hook from beginning to end. I especially liked the friends to lovers aspect. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
The love story of Ketu and Antoinette. Antoinette is on a mission: to end the selling of dragon blood in New Orleans. Ketu has return to New Orleans after 10 years and he thinks Antoinette is drug dealer. Then they learn their are fated mate. Will he help or destroy her? Great story.
Our couple here is Antoinette, and Ketu. She was his sister's best friend, and both were crushed when she died of a drug addiction. Ketu fled New Orleans to try to heal, but now he's back. And at first, he thinks Antoinette is up to no good.
This novella portrays grief well, but there are also hot sexy dragon shifters, and a drug trade both want to end. Satisfying read.
Dragon's & Gargoyles in New Orleans, what a great storyline. We continue the overall ARC from the previous books as we learn Ketu's & Antoinette's backstory. Its wonderful to get a kickass heroine & a growly alpha wise enough to back her up.
A great continuation to the series! Antoinette is a harass and Ketu is on a mission...plenty of twists in the story including one really surprising one ...Can't wait to read more!
'Dragon in Denial" Is the third book in the series. I have also read the first two. I have enjoyed reading all of them. This was about the dragons in New Orleans. Loved the ending and the HEA.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading Antoinette & Ketu's story very much. I love reading a happy ever after story it makes my day. Thank you for writing this story.
