This book is a great, concise introduction to dividend-paying whole life insurance and real estate investing. The authors provide a well-written case on how to combine these two tools and create long term wealth.
NO one in the mainstream financial world is talking about some of the ideas presented in this book. If you are new to this world of personal finance you may learn something that you don't want to miss.
The underlying economics of this book mainly come from the Austrian school of thought which, in my opinion, cannot be overlooked in the pursuit of a sound, generational, wealth building strategy.

Excellent read which combines having a whole life insurance policy along with investing in real estate. When done correctly, the risk is minimized.

Good Basics
You might wonder about the value of life insurance in a financial plan, and whether real estate is a good wealth building choice. This book begins to explore those ideas, and more. There’s a lot to touch on, and the authors do a good job in providing a foundation for further exploration.

This is one of the best investing books I've ever read. A lot of the popular financial literature out there sings the praises of financial vehicles like 401(k)s, IRAs and mutual funds; vehicles that are largely a historical aberration designed to make the government and Wall St. rich while leaving only the crumbs for the individuals who put up all the capital and took all the risk. The world is just now getting its first taste of how that system is working out for the younger baby boomers. In contrast the system the authors of this book teach of using whole life insurance as a vehicle to save and store liquidity and then invest in cash flowing real estate has been time tested and proven over centuries to be an effective and secure means of building wealth.
This book is a quick easy read that breaks down some of the most pervasive myths in the financial industry and explains clearly why much of the typical advice people hear just doesn't work, i.e. it doesn't lead to financial freedom.
Two of the most powerful concepts to me were the importance of including opportunity cost into financial calculations to see the true impact of a financial decision (e.g. a 15 year mortgage doesn't actually save you money) and that you should follow a bank's example rather than its advice (e.g. a bank advises you to minimize leverage and pay it off as quickly as possible; however a bank maximizes its leverage and pays it back as slowly as possible) in order to build your own wealth as quickly as possible.
This is a high level book that presents a strategy at a high level that can get the reader started down a different path than what most people are following. While it provides more principles than specific action steps I highly, highly recommend this to anyone seeking a secure, timely path to financial freedom.
