The conspiracy theorists of the world might have gotten something right. Maybe not the details, but they got something right. Secret experiments exist!
The details they didn’t get right were probably down to not having the imagination for what an ass can be used for.

It's an interesting background story arc in this book, and I very much liked the freshness of the idea. Cudos to the author for the inventiveness that went into its creation.

As far as the dark and erotic theme that lured me in, the plot started out strong. Then a few chapters in the story became less dark, and for me lost some of its initial drive. Alex, the main character, has a very pragmatic approach to the story as it unfolds., but I struggled with his main

Wow. I was engrossed in this fascinating story.
Alex's journey as a kidnapping victim will keep you immersed in his story and on the edge of your seat as it unfolds.
This book had all the feels, some of them uncomfortable but engrossing none the less.
A great, original story line and world building that was fantastic.

Best. Tentacle. Sex. Ever!!
This was a well thought out storyline and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
Dark and entertaining.

THIS BOOK CONTAINS: non-con, dub-con, fisting, tentacles, sex between animal Hybrids and humans, master/slave, voyeurism, power struggle, sensory deprivation, abduction, exhibitionism, slavery, psychological mindfucks, dystopia settings, mpreg in the form of eggs going…places, gestation, and a surprise ending with a HEA feel to it.

I must admit, this is my first time I read this kind of story. I’ve been ‘avoiding’ read anything that include tentacles for so long but the warning this book gave

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book considering how hesitant I was to read it. This book is very much outside my norm, but is honestly one of the most in-depth, thought provoking, and entertaining books I have read in a while.
Alex has a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and wants to change the world - but can’t even get a job. After another failed job interview he ends up getting drunk in a run-down bar and agreeing to a road trip with a guy he just meets. Next thing he’s kidnapped and

This is a new author to me & I was pleasantly surprised at how well this book was written, this author has created a complex, somewhat dark Sci-Fi tentacle MM romance. It has a well-paced, descriptive story-line & plot filled with excellent scene descriptions, combined with unexpected occurrences & events. The characters are unique with complex personalities, some of the characters displayed compliance & struggle with acceptance in a new & unfamiliar world, while other ...more

There is a lot of tentacles in this book! It is an enjoyable and kind of sweet to read if you give it a go.
A human cephalopod hybrid, incubated in a human colon that eats plastic to clean up our oceans! What a great idea. Alex is a scientist through and through, full of curiosity and so many questions, willing to hand himself over to help save the world. Cooper is kind, patient with Alex but also so possessive and loving.
This is a book that has its harsh elements as it is dub-con, and non-con

Hybrid Incubator by Meraki P Dark is a stand alone contemporary sci-fi novel that definitely made me glad I gave it a chance. It was unique, interesting, and surprising. The characters drew you in, the story was well written and a well developed world. Some of the aspects of the book were... uncomfortable to read, I admit that I wanted to jump past a certain section. But it was meaningful to the story and I can appreciate why it was there. There is even a sweetness to this story. I truly enjoyed ...more

Hybrid Incubator was actually a really thought provoking book, which I didn’t expect going in. The environmental side of it, along with the “lab rat” parts made me think.

Alex is a true scientist...seriously full of questions. Cooper was ashamed of his nature and I loved that Alex tried to show him how to be who he really was. Yes there’s tentacles involved...but these were important to the furthering of the story. The punishment part made me quite uneasy, and Alex’s reaction to it was quite

Let there be tentacles. Okay I have to say that there is a scene that I had a hard time with and that was the punishment. It was rape, no two always about it. It was brutal and it tore me up. I loved the premise behind the story and how the hybrids came to be. I loved how accepting Alex is and really is onboard, all in. Where most men are like; wait, what? He was like, I have a ton of questions and bring it on. I adored Cooper and he was perfect for Alex. This is a new to me author and I want to ...more

Ok this was a bit different of what I have read of sci-fi of mm and of mpreg genre. And to be honest I don't know if I like how the story went. Alex and Cooper were great there is no doubt about that but the reason for all of this to happen to Alex is the one that didn't do it for me it was just not a reason enough for me. But the ending was still good at least Alex found happiness in his world.

I didn't know what to expect from this going in but I found it surprisingly enjoyable. Yes there's tentacle sex but it's tentacle sex with a purpose. It's a blend of science fiction, taboo sexual encounters, and environmental restoration. All in all a weirdly enjoyable read.

Not gonna lie... I had some dental work yesterday and was on some intense pain killers throughout most of this read... So I really don’t have much to say about, as I am still not feeling too perky.

Anyways I’ll try and put words into a review later.

This was quite an interesting story. Alex basically set himself up for something to happen to him but ends up finding happiness and love in the end too.

There were parts that were hot and some that bugged me to, but I expected that to an extent. When Alex is with Cooper and even those showing kindness I absolutely loved those scenes but when it came to the punishing scene that Alex went through it made me sick to my stomach and no matter what they was flat out violent rape.

I liked how Alex was

Alex’s life changes on the day he trusted the wrong man and finds himself kidnapped and experimented on against his will. When Alex begins to ask questions and tries to figure out just where he is and why Alex finds a whole world that he never dreamed could exist. What will Alex do once he finds out the truth about his captors and just where will he go from there?

This is an intense read and not for the faint of heart. Alex goes through a lot of physical and mental abuse and trials. Alex is a

I am speechless! This book was so good i can't form words. Totally blowed my mind.

This was my first from the author, and my first tentacle ever. But now i know 2 thing for sure - this wasn't my last from the author and wasn't my last tentacle either! Oh God how perfect it was!

I couldn't put it down, i read it as fast as i can while as slow as it didn't hurt lol. I wanted to know, but didn't wanted to end the book. And the worst part?! This book is a standalone! NOOOO! I don't remember the last

Wow, what an intensive read!
I was very curious about this book, but I also felt unsure how I would enjoy a story with so many warnings, which even seems to be bannend (?) from amazon. But curiosity won and I'm very happy about that :)
Yes, there were very dark and sometimes cruel scenes, but they were important for the overall story and never meaningless. I really enjoyed that there was an actual story and a deeper meaning behind the abductions. And the author totally took me by surprise at how

How far can science go in the service of progress? How much of a saying should people have on the experiments performed?

I loved the topics in this book. They were exactly what it said in the blurb that they were... Intense, dark and right in the middle of what's right or wrong.

No spoilers - Alex cares about the environment and he will find himself in a position were he can "help" it. It was very interesting to see the things he would accept in order to do so.

Really pay attention to the warnings

Basically, tentacle word porn, really that should be enough said. You’re either into it or you’re not, right? Well this was my first foray into the world of tentacle sex in a full length story and I LOVED IT. The actual story line was pretty good and kept me interested in more then JUST the sex scenes. Which were completely obscene and . This book is probably too much for amazon () so I can see why it’s released instead on smash words. I was definitely surprised at just how much I liked this book. It is dark and twisted so make sure you read the warnings before reading this book. The plot is spectacular with incredible world building. You do have dub-con, non-con, egg impregnating and lots of tentacle sex! But there is a scientific purpose for all of it that actually makes Alex, one of the MCs, understand why they do what they do. Amongst everything there is a relationship developing between Alex and Cooper which I really ...more

This was a helluva story. Honestly, it was a serious ride and adventure, and I totally do not know how to classify it at all. I do know that I want to read anything else that comes in this world, because it's definitely an interesting one.

I love the interactions between Alex and Copper. I think that there is such chemistry there from the very first, and it's not something that most people would expect to see, but that doesn't mean that it's not there and that it's not worthy.

Really interesting

My, my, is it a bit hot in here?! It's been a while since I've returned to the genre that help me discover the mm world and I wonder why I didn't search harder. Great story and well developed. Gives one a moment to pause in thought.

Alex is kidnapped. Instead of fighting his captors, he is curious as to why they're here and why they're kidnapping. He gets to know his captor.

The world is brutal that has been developed. Glad I read it!

Initial thought: ohmygod this is really weird! Final thoughts: this book was surprisingly erotic. I've never read anything like it before. It's been a few days since I read it and I can't stop thinking about it. It was thought provoking especially when it comes to the plastic littering our oceans. I also really enjoyed the highly detailed descriptions of the hybrid creatures. Just be warned there's a little non-con throughout the book. The rest though is really freaking hot! I kinda wish the ...more

I’ve never read a book like this before. It was fascinating!

The biology and mythology was intriguing for me as a person who loves puzzles and how things fit together.

Alex the MC was so logical and had his heart in the right place. The twists and turns were a bit more emotional than I thought I would get but I loved every minute of it!

I definitely want to read more books like this. It was strangely erotic and hot.

This book is dark and please read the warnings before continuing! At times it even seemed too dark for me but I found a certain pleasure in the incubation process. I gained a soft spot for the gen 4 and 1s and felt a pride for Alex for sticking his neck to out. This book was very well crafted and I look forward to see more from this author!

Meraki P. Dark is, as the last name suggests, the dark side of Meraki P. Lyhne.

Where Meraki P. Lyhne will play with anything from fluffy slow-burns with HEA and go to the border of dub-con, letting his characters deliver a striped ass, Meraki P. Dark will explore the depraved minds during non-con, and he’ll play with whatever fetish catches his attention.
