2.5 ⭐️
It was a little too juvenile for my liking but the art was pretty cute and made me nostalgic of when I used to collect Care Bears. Never watched the show though so I have no idea how accurate this adaption is. I kind wish Grumpy bear was more grumpy though. I also wish it didn’t try so hard. They eat sugar free cupcakes? That’s blasphemy.

This was a gift from my husband! It was soooo fucking adorable!!!! I love it! I def would read more Care Bear Graphic Novels!

This was a cute book - I love Care Bears and I love comic books/graphic novels - I wish this was a series though instead of one book. The art is adorable but the writing is too juvenile.
If you love cute comic books like this I highly recommend the My Little Pony series - the writing is top notch and will appeal to an older audience as well as children.

A cute spin-off of the 2019 show. I actually didn't know about the show before reading this and have since watched a few episodes. The graphic novel seems pretty true to the characters and setting.
The artwork is super cute. Really fun visuals. On the wordy side, but the story is interesting.
