2.5 ⭐️ It was a little too juvenile for my liking but the art was pretty cute and made me nostalgic of when I used to collect Care Bears. Never watched the show though so I have no idea how accurate this adaption is. I kind wish Grumpy bear was more grumpy though. I also wish it didn’t try so hard. They eat sugar free cupcakes? That’s blasphemy.
This was a cute book - I love Care Bears and I love comic books/graphic novels - I wish this was a series though instead of one book. The art is adorable but the writing is too juvenile.
If you love cute comic books like this I highly recommend the My Little Pony series - the writing is top notch and will appeal to an older audience as well as children.

A cute spin-off of the 2019 show. I actually didn't know about the show before reading this and have since watched a few episodes. The graphic novel seems pretty true to the characters and setting.
The artwork is super cute. Really fun visuals. On the wordy side, but the story is interesting.
Cute book for fans of the show. I would say it's helpful to have at least watched the first episode to understand what the Silver Lining is, the Care Bears' current mission, and who Bluster is.
A fun read overall. It makes me wish there were more Care Bear graphic novels out there.
