When Jughead accidentally gives the judges in a baking contest food poisoning, he's banned from competition for life. Naturally, he invents time travel to avoid this and opens a whole can of worms...

Modern Archie books are right up my alley and this is another 50% off purchase from the Archie store. Plus it has time travel and parallel universes so I was on it like Jughead on a burger.

So this is a breezy little book about destruction of timelines and multiple iterations of Jughead with different

Time travel is always a hard story to follow, but thankfully the different eras of Jugheads made it - not easier, but more interesting - to follow along. I especially enjoyed Riverdale Jughead making a cameo. I really liked the art for this, and the colouring was so vibrant. All in all, a fun read.

I have to say I still prefer the old style of archie comics... was pleased to see some of the varied styles in this one.
Fun read before bed... prepping for a long, stressful week ahead.

Jughead's Time Police is probably my favorite of the classic Archie storylines, and Jughead is my favorite of the Archie characters. So, my opinion about this was already skewed toward the positive. Throw in whacky time travel, multiverses, and deep cuts into Archie mythology, and it's basically an automatic 5 star rating for me.

The story is a fun romp through time with Jughead focused on food and friends. It's funny and charming. The art is vibrant and clean and wonderful to behold.

However, I

That was entertaining and fun to read. It is a typical Archie character story though. Jughead is easily distracted and overly focused on dumb stuff. Overly focused on food.
To enjoy the comic you have to ignore Jughead being dumb,
Jughead acting dumb and making bad decisions.
People being stupider than Jughead - people can't notice the difference between Jugheads while the reader sees they are not look a likes.

Despite those minor nits I did enjoy this read.

I really liked this until I found it was riffing off an established concept. I had given the author a lot of credit for coming up with a gonzo concept (Cf. New Avengers Volume 2: Stars and Garters), even though it ultimately devolved into Enter the Jugverse. Still, a fun time!

Lots of fun. Cool twists on the original concept from the 90s. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Look, this wasn't a home run, but it was a lot of fun. I liked the Jughead multiverse and always enjoy Derek Charms pencils.

Sina Grace’s parents had big plans for their son: Ivy League schooling, professional credentials, a 6-figure income as a doctor– the works! Fortunately for us, he found the wonderful world of comics instead. It was in this world of contradictions that he “matured,” one foot teetering on the edge of academia, the other drawn to the inescapable grasp of an ink-bound fantasy underworld.

At 14, Grace s
