It's In God's Hands
Luke Siegel was only nine years old when he suffered a brain injury from a golf cart accident. After several surgeries and tests, the doctors told Tim and Jenny, Luke’s parents, that their son would never again be able to walk or talk. Their world was completely shattered. “It's in God's Hands” is Tim Siegel's honest and moving account of the grief he has experienced since the day of Luke's accident and how his relationship with his son has changed and grown. He shares the daily struggles of caretaking, memories of his interactions with his son before the accident, and stories about the people he has met and helped in the aftermath. Through the journey, Tim realized he wanted to help others going through similar circumstances; He is now the Executive Director of Team Luke Hope for Minds, a non profit organization that helps families who have a child with a brain injury. “It's in God's Hands” is a father's tribute to his son’s who Luke was before the accident, the fighter he has become as he works toward recovery, and the lives he has impacted.

It’s In God’s Hands, by Tim Siegel, is a life-changer. As for the writing, you would never know Tim isn’t a trained and experienced author. It comes across that captivating! Reading the book feels a lot like Lubbock itself: down-to-earth. What you see is what you get and what you get is something real. As for the subject matter, it will stay with you forever. It will change your attitude, your outlook on life and your heart. I give it 5 stars and beg you to read it.
