Ingo Blum is a German author and comedian. His journey to becoming a children’s book author began during his day job. He has always enjoyed projects where he could create artwork for kids. Eventually, he became a writer and graphic designer in the evenings - and started writing children's stories to accompany these projects for fun. With some encouragement from his friends and family (and a lot of kids!), he decided to share his stories with the world. Ingo works with illustrators from all over the world with whom he constantly develops new concepts and stories.
This is a great chapter book for kids. The chapters are short enough not loose their interest. The story is interesting so they would want to come back again and again. The words are ones they can already know or figure out with a little help. Three friends, Finn the Falcon, Shylow the Fox and Titus the Badger, we're looking for an adventure. Three friends, Finn the Falcon, Shylow the Fox and Titus the Badger, we're looking for an adventure. They decided to go for a ride on the river. They heard someone crying for help. It was Emma the calf. She was scared because when she woke from her nap, her family was gone. They had been taken down the river by the farmer. Emma was asleep and got left behind. The friends put their thoughts together and came up with a solitopm. .What could it be? You will get to read the book and see. A chapter book just for your child to enjoy. Amazing. I found this book for free for an honest review.
Finn the falcon, Shylow the fox and Titus the badger are the best of friends. Their favorite activity is to go out on their wooden rowing boat. They love sailing. One day they found a lost calf. They think they can help the calf if they work together. Can they work together and save the calf?
This book is wonderful. It teaches children about teamwork. It is colorful and fun. It's told in a way children won't realize they are learning. They'll want this book read again and again. It belongs in your child's library.
The only issue I found was the part where the boat really runs into serious trouble. It might be a bit much for the age group.
I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because of the part mentioned above. copy of book provided by author and I voluntarily reviewed it
Books like this are so informational for children and hold such a wealth of knowledge. I really enjoy reading books, like this one and many others to my children, for if you start them young then they will grow to have a love for reading and adventure!
Papa read this book to me each night as I was going to bed😁 but I was so tired I didn't get the chance for my thoughts to follow to the end but we did make it to the end and and I'm still awake good book!!! Boo Happy Thanksgiving👑
Titus (badger), Finn (falcon), & Shylow (fox) are all very good friends. Titus is kind of different when he was young, he fell in a bucket of green paint. Now he is spotted. Sylow is kind of a slacker (lazy) & tries to get everyone do his 1/3rd of the work. Finn is kind of the scout. On their voyage they hear Emma (baby calf) crying, she got left behind. Jonny the beaver is asked to build the little 1 a raft. The tree topples over. Other animals are asked to help build the raft. Emma climbs aboard. They gather some grass to eat along her journey. The 3 of them climb on & away they go.
Will Emma get reunited with her herd?
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.
A very awesome book cover, fabulous hand drawn colored pictures, great font & writing style. A very well written children’s animal adventure book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s animal adventure movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. A very easy rating of 5 stars.

This is one of the stories of Titus the badger, Finn the falcon, and Shylow the fox . They are best friend and they love to go out on a boat to spend their free time. It seems that whenever they do so they have an adventure. This time they meet a lost calf and help it to get home by building a raft. A lovely story of friendship and helping one another. The story is appealing, but the words are a little more for older children, not for small toddlers. The pictures are nice and appealing. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another wonderful addition to the Riverboat series! I love that the keep coming across new characters and situations. It has adorable illustrations that the kids will love.
I was gifted an ARC in return of an honest review. (Also purchased it!)
This was an easy to follow children's book. The illustrations within were colorful and kept a 3-year-old interested in them. The story itself was simple and focused on three friends helping a little calf find her family. My niece seemed to enjoy listening to the story and looking at the pictures.
An excellent children's book, beautifully illustrated by Tanya Maneki. While it may be a little long for some younger readers, both my nieces loved it, and we will be reading book 2 in the series ASAP!!
