First time author!!?!
My mind is blown that this is the first book by this author. I truly enjoyed this book! Both characters were strong and not annoying at all! Great storyline with suspense and slow burn. Great start to a new series and career can’t wait to read more books from this author!! Also this book is available on Kindle Unlimited.

It was a good start
I had some issues of the Author repeating herself.
Meaning she would have a chapter from Minx POV and then from Raze POV where she repeats the same thing. Ex. From Raze he come in the door and the chapter goes on then from there. The when next chapter from Savannah her chapter will start before he comes in the door and repeat the whole thing.
It drove me insane! I had to skim a lot. Well I have this Author a chance and well...no.

I will definitely be reading more from this author. Minx, is the MC’s President’s daughter. After a death, she and her best friend leave after graduation. While she is gone, Raze becomes a member. When they first meet, Raze has no idea who she is, but is deeply attracted to her. She has always said she would never be with a member of the club. She wants a “normal” relationship. You know what they say about plans, they usually go out the window. This book had me laugh, cry, yell and want to smack some people upside their head, if not more. The chemistry between Mind and Raze is explosive and he is so different from other bikers. He is a sweetheart when it comes to being with Minx. There is action, suspense, a family reunion and some twists and turns. The storyline flowed smoothly and I didn’t want to put it down. All the characters were great. I can’t wait to read other books in this series.

First by this author and I absolutely loved it. It was quite the book from beginning to end. I absolutely loved all the characters in this one. It was a great MC book from beginning to end. I am so hoping for more from this author that involve other characters in the book. Raze is quite the guy. He is swoon worthy and someone you can easily love. I absolutely love how protective of Minx he is. Minx decides to leave with her best friend after losing her brother. Years later she decides to come back because her other brother is in the hospital. She runs into Raze at the diner that she works at. Not realizing that he is part of her father's MC. Things happen that bring Raze and Minx together and I absolutely loved watching their relationship grow. I hated what happened to her but was so glad that Raze was there for her and gave her what she needed. It was such a gripping book from beginning to end. Kay gained a fan I cant wait to read more from her.

Fantastic read and great intro to a new MC. I still can’t believe this is Kay Marie’s first MC book, but it doesn’t surprise me how good it is because her other stuff is just as awesome as this was! This is the story of Minx and Raze. Minx is the MC princess who tries to build a new life in a new state after tragedy strikes. Raze is a member who joined the club after Minx had left and without knowing who she is he meets her upon her return back to town. There’s a little bit of everything in this: street racing, conflict with a rival club, biker bunny problems, and the instalove between Raze and Minx is told really, really well. I’m looking forward to seeing where the next story takes us.

First time reading this author and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading Raze and Minx's story. Plenty of sizzle, excitement, intrigue and hot bikers to last quite a while as well as a story that is very well written with characters that attract you and put themselves right into your heart.
Minx is a princess full of sass, smarts and the love of racing. Princess, yes. Considered a princess because she is the daughter of the president of an MC. After losing her brother, she and her best friend leave town after graduation and make their own lives with new friends. But home is calling her and she has to go back because her other brother is in the hospital and isn't doing well. She has to go back and see him, and she is ready to go home. She meets Raze at the diner she works at, then again at the races where she is going to participate. He's so good looking that she can hardly take her eyes off of him. When she sees him again at the races, she finds out that he is in her father's MC. Now, things will definitely get interesting as these two begin to feel an undeniable pull. But there is trouble lurking in the background and someone is watching her. Someone that wants to get her back. Things get dicey and her safety becomes paramount. But there is a traitor in their midst and when they strike, the MC pulls out all the stops to save her.
This is a great read and if this is a series, I cannot wait to read the next one! I highly recommend this book!

What an amazing MC read. I fell in love with both the premise and the characters. The book is full of fun, happy times as well as suspenseful, tear jerking, action packed times. I loved the banter between the girls and the comrodiary with the guys. Kudos to this new author for a very well written, exciting storyline that held me captive from the start.
Minx, has returned home from a 4 year absence and with her BFF’s. Minx is a sassy, independent woman who speaks her mind and loves to race cars. She meet Raze while working at the diner. Their connection was instant but she’s the Prez’s daughter and well we all know that can cause a lot of trouble. But Minx comes home harboring a secret. One she is hoping she has escaped. But when trouble finds the club, Minx comes clean and now the club has two battles on its hands.

I can’t believe this is this author’s debut book. She has a phenomenal writing style and the character development is spot on. This is a fast-paced, keeps you on the edge of your seat and full of suspense read! Raze is tired of the club bunnies so that has him in the diner near his apartment as opposed to the club owned diner. That’s when he meets her and is drawn to her beauty and tats. She comes back into town, running away from her problems to fall head over heels for Raze. There is a catch (isn’t there always) she is Raze’s President’s daughter, Minx and they didn’t know she was back in town. What do you get when you cross a street car racing woman and her crew with a biker and his club?? An absolutely fantastic, adrenaline inducing story! I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!! I highly, highly recommend this book!

Overall this was a pretty decent book. It is pretty much insta-love, which I don't like due to the lack of realism. I mean this isn't a book written in the fantasy genre. But that's okay because there is lots of drama going on and it keeps the book moving.
Technically speaking the book is well written and easy to read. For the most part the characters are fleshed out except for the supporting cast who still have a large part to play in this book and in future books hopefully.
Anyway, like I said this was a nice read. I am looking forward to future books by this author.

Great start to this series
Savannah aka Minx left town 4 years ago for a fresh start and to get away from the club life as best as she can since she is the Prez's daughter. When her brother gets hospitalized she decides to finally come home. She meets Mason aka Raze at a diner and he has no clue who she is, even when he finds out he is still taken by her like he has never been before. When Minx's ex comes to town to harm her can Raze protect her? You meet alot of the club and some outsiders and I look forward to reading more about these guys and seeing how Minx and Raze do

Wow - this is Kay Marie’s first book and it was outstanding! I’m so glad to have found another 1-Click author. This book has action from the beginning until the end. No putting the book down. I loved the story and all the characters. There are so many ‘feels’ in this book that it was unreal. Also, the banter, flirting, sexual tension and sex between Raze and Minx is off the flipping charts hot!
So yeah - I really recommend running out now and reading this book!

Really good for this being Kay Marie’s debut book. But the number of characters introduced in the first part of the book was really overwhelming and keeping them all straight was a bit of a challenge for me. And if you aren’t an MC romance fan, you might find some of the terms confusing. And in my opinion, there are a couple of unanswered questions that should have been addressed.
That said, I did enjoy the book. Minx/Savannah is the daughter of the president of the MC. When she and Raze meet, the connection is almost instantaneous. I loved the slower start to their relationship. But they build one strong foundation for their relationship.
Overall, Pedal to the Metal was a very good book. I look forward to watching Kay Marie’s writing grow with future books.

Pedal to the Medal by Kay Marie was an awesome read. This is the first book in the Savage Menaces MC series and the debut book for this author and it was amazing. This book had me laughing, crying, angry, wanting to hurt someone, rooting for the good guys and jeering the bad guys. I had all the feels. This book has action, suspense, romance, MC, revenge. The book is well written and has very likeable characters. I did not want to put the book down. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

Absolutely loved Raze and Minx’s story. It took me on a emotional journey. Awesome storyline and characters that kept me captivated and intrigued. I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. Full of twist and turns that kept me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an awesome read

I really enjoy this book, it’s well written with likeable characters and a gripping plot . Raze and Minx’s story is sweet and sexy, sad, funny and the banter between her and her best mate cum non bio sister Rivet is fun ( I reckon she’s next for love). I look forward to more from this series

Great debut
This book was recommended to me and I am so glad I took a chance on a new author.

This is the first time that i have read this author. It was ok, we meet Raze and Minx, I kind of liked both of them, they really didn't play a lot of games so I liked that, we had stupid club whores but they were put in there place, there was some tough scenes that were heartbreaking for Minx, but I am happy that she had a man that stood by her.

Raze and Minx will pull you in with their fast paced, action packed, hot steamy and romantic read. It will get your blood moving and pulse racing. With all the twist and turns you won't expect anything till it happens. Amazing it has all the feels and everything you need and want in an MC book. Can't wait to read more from this author

Great Debut
This was a great debut from Kay Marie. You’re immediately invested in the story. You keep reading because you have to know what’s going to go down. You get to know several characters which is awesome. Means more books. I love a good MC book and this definitely is one.
