Funny, sweet read

This is a sweet, easy read with lots of little laughs throughout.

Hannah was a brand new model in the big city who naively signed with a terrible agent. She met another model who took Hannah under her wing and invited her to some auditions that Hannah would not have known about otherwise. One such audition was for model/designer James Tipton's new perfume and clothing line.

James is a famous playboy who doesn't do relationships but he likes Hannah and wants to get to know her better.

James is really very sweet and quite the considerate lover.

My only issue with this book is how naive and easily tricked these characters are. Plus, once Hannah and James start becoming intimate, no one thinks twice about using protection...even though they don't know each other and he is supposedly a huge playboy. There should've at least been an "I'm clean" conversation.

Overall, an easygoing quick read with an HEA.

Wow! What a great story!

Model Behavior is the second book in the Slow Burn/Big Apple series written by author Alexa Summers. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone romance, although I do recommend that you read Touchdown since it’s also a great book!

Model Behavior tells the story of Hannah Fray who's a struggling model in New York City. She doesn’t realize it, but her modeling agency is disliked in the industry and it’s the reason why she hasn't landed any jobs. Her roommate Lily brought her to a casting call to audition to be the face of James Tipton’s new perfume. James is a very famous and well know model and he’s recently become a designer. Once he sees Hannah, he’s immediately taken with her beauty.

Not only did this book have a great storyline, but I really enjoyed the characters. I was engrossed from the very beginning and it was nearly impossible to put down! I’m looking forward to the next book in the series!

I received this book as part of an ARC review. It was an interesting look into the world of modelling behind the scenes. Lily helps the new model, Hannah, by getting into auditions that she normally wouldn't know about due to her bad agent who she eventually dumps. On one audition she meets James and he wants her as the face for his new line. Their attraction is strong and they soon act on it. While not smooth, their relationship does survive the separation and comes out stronger. They both deal with their family issues that contributed some to the problems they faced earlier on. The one word that links both their professional and personal lives is serendipity.

Hannah comes to New York and is signed by Mannie that no company will choose any of his models. Hannah by accident gets talking to another model at an audition called Lilly and Sheba becomes a guide and helps Hannah, by having her go to the same auditions. One of these is for the irresistible James Tipton. This is a heart warming love story, that tends to be good one minute and then dies down and picks up again. If you want a read here you don’t have to concentrate too much then this is the one to read.

I thought it was an okay read. I enjoyed parts of James and Hannah's character, but found them to be a bit naive. Hannah is shown as entirely too trusting while James is too obvious and single minded. It's not a bad read, but I just had a hard time connecting to the characters. It's a good read into the modelling world though.

Hannah is an aspiring model who, through serendipity, meets the famous James Tipton, and lands a huge job. Even as she learns from and works with James, they both can't deny their attraction. 3.5 stars

Very tender
Good romance on the world of fashion, a young woman, Hannah, whose career takes off by chance, thanks to a millionaire, James, who hires her for his new campaign.
On one side the story is simple, but it is very well written and the evolution of their relationship is quite strong, despite a Hannah sometimes too naive for my taste, especially in the world of haute couture as it is described.

A neophyte in the “dog eat dog” world of modeling
Hannah was very lucky that her first tryout ended up with her being hired by James. Although super sophisticated and an infamous playboy he is deeply attracted to her honesty and sincerity. Interesting story and characters in this well written book.

I received a free ARC of this novel via Hidden gem in exchange for a honest review. That being said, my opinion is my own.

This is the second book in a series but it stands alone just fine. Reading the first book doesn't add any real background. I found it pretty well written. The story line is very sweet. The characters were well done and believable.

Pretty solid story all around.
