description I was hoping for good things from this book. I wasn't overly crazy about book one. I couldn't stand Easton. The guy was a butthurt douche over something that was never even Charlotte's fault. That said, I had hopes we'd get a better Easton in this one...we didn't. Well, not until 65% at which time he just turns into husband of the year because Jill (who suddenly has feelings for Easton) states the freaking obvious to him. On top of that, this is the second book in the last few days that has the

Holy hotness!

This was a fab read. The emotions evoked were as real as they get.
The feelings of loss, betrayal, and loneliness made my heart bleed for Charlotte.
Eastons loss and grief causing his anger, revengefullness, and spite taking over .

All this masking the flame of something special that was lit by a tiny spark years earlier.
A spark that would burn slowly and steadily until it burns away all other emotions except love, respect and gratitude.

Don't be fooled however that this is a lovely

Rarely do I give a one star rating to a book, but here I am and here's why. This is going to be a really long rant. I apologize in advance.
The book is a dark romance. It's the second in a duet about Charlotte and Easton. Charlotte married Easton as payment of a debt owed by her father, otherwise Easton would have killed her father (or something like that). It's all a bit convoluted and illogical really. That's pretty much my big issues with this book. It's ridiculous. It's fiction, I get it. I

Heroine lost last of her brain cells. She is homeless and goes to sleep in a crack house, then park pench, then she goes into a house of a complete stranger. They are in the netherlands, she should go to US embacy.
When hero ask his father to find her, it makes no sence, because he is in US ..but it seems Author forgot that her family lived in US and that she flew to netherlands. She writes that her family is also in netherlands (?) and that she should meet up, because her brother is in hospital

Better than the first one in this duology. Wild spins a roller-coaster tale to bring Easton and Charlotte closer. Romance fans will love it.

A Debt Repaid by Clarissa Wild is book Two in The Debt Duet. This continues the story of Charlotte and Easton, so you really should read the first book 'A Debt Owed' before reading this one.
This book starts where the last one ended with Charlotte running from Easton and toward freedom. But of course Easton is looking for her but sadly someone else is looking for her too.
Easton was a hard hero to like but almost middle of the road he started doing better, so if you like a hard nosed slow to giv

I read both. Just no. Am I just the odd one out? He is certifiably crazy. Not just a dominant...but an actual crazy person. Hated the H in the first book and hated him all the way through the second. His character made no sense and his inner monologue was worse. Nope.

Loved this book and the ending. I was not sure if Easton and Charlotte were ever going to mend their problems, but they did. You will love this ending

I loved this ending! Easton and Charlotte both had some growing up to do. Easton had a lot more than growing up to do; he had to get over his revenge and find the happiness that he wanted and craved. But when you have hated as long and as much as he has, it was going to be hard to do that, even with the love that Charlotte could give him.

Charlotte finally has gotten free of Easton and her family. She has gotten everything she could ever want with being free of Easton except Easton. So when C

The conclusion to this duet is perfect. Charlotte and Easton have had a very rough start in their marriage and things only get worse. Charlotte is determined to get her freedom and Easton is more determined to keep her locked up. These two battle to the end until a miracle happens and Easton finally understands what it is that Charlotte wants. Once the light was turned on, he was determined to make amends and Charlotte is in disbelief. Is this a trick or has he changed?! Let's not forget her awf ...more

Made it through no 1 & 58% of 2

And that's enough.

The back & forth just became too much.
I don't know if it's dark. Maybe. She's 25 and paid for so a Dad who hates her won't die. But I feel like I've left a twisted teen drama with how stupid everyone acts.
I think I'll read a teen drama to shed the weirdness.

Wasn’t worth finishing. Easton is still a clownish, jealous baby. Charlotte spends half the book with some other guy. Ridiculous drama ensues and time speeds up. Pacing is way off. Time to stop investing energy into this book and pick up something else! I will say this, if you don’t despise Easton like I do, then chances are you’ll decently enjoy this book.

I have no idea why I continued this duet, after I hated the first one. But this one was just as idiotic. The messed-up relationship between the H & h became even more obvious after h runs away and stays with a single dad who made for a much better match. ...more
A Decent Book

So, let me reiterate that I love Clarissa and her works, and thoroughly enjoy them, but this duet did not do it for me. I'm not sure if maybe it is because it is a duet, which means the story is usually dragged out if there is not enough substance, but I felt disconnected from the story and characters, and almost bored. It almost didn't even feel like one of Clarissa's books. It interested me enough where I didn't feel like I had to DNF it at anytime, but still not interesting enoug

I absolutely devoured this entire duet. Book 2 I finished in one sitting. It was everything I love in a great mafia romance. Hero was raw, gritty, flawed and had the best redemptive qualities I could ever ask for.

Book one left me hating the guy and hoping he can never get her back. Clarissa Wild’s writing had me on this fantastic rollercoaster of emotions. Where I loved her hero and heroine, I hated them and fell in love all over again.

I read this book via audio and I can never say enough thin

Well I continue the book after reading the first one and it's expected of course Easton did changed a little bit and they were able to fix their relationship and her dad was still an a*******. To be honest I don't like to start a book without finishing it if the series continues so I chose to continue this book but i-Ready more to finishing up because I really enjoyed it . It was okay I expected more from the books based on how well it was reviewed I don't know how the author what about that but ...more

OMG... JESUS FUCK... What the hell?

Alright... I need to say this. If you want to read this. You NEED to read this from book one, as this is a duet and you will be all kinds of confused otherwise.

Well, with that out of the way... to the review... SERIOUSLY?! My head is a mess right now. I don't know how to feel. I don't know why I don't know how to feel... No actually, that is a lie. I do... I wished for it to be better then the first one! I really really did!
I'm so so sorry, but it just wasn't for me. I love captive stories and indebted stories, but it is just a really really though genre to write so you'll fall in love with the H. So I'm sad to say this one wasn't for me and didn't meet my expectations.

Just like in the first one there were a few parts that seemed so pushed like it doesn't feel natural to me. There was also a lot of miss communication or so it seemed to me. Than th

In this second book of the duology, we find Easton and Charlotte in a struggle between the heart and the right to own a life.
Charlotte had been "sold" by her father to Easton to reclaim the family's fortune.
Tired of being considered nothing less than a pet, Charlotte decides to take revenge on Easton, and flees leaving him without a trace to locate her.
Long ago, Easton no longer considered Charlotte merely as a means of revenge. He loved her. But since her escape, he needed to find a way to show

Disappointing to say the least

This storyline depicts women as weak and easily controllable. How far fetched to insinuate that a woman who is basically sold by her father to a man who is obviously mentally unstable that wants to own her mind body and sole and who's sole purpose in life is to destroy her father and humiliate her by sexual domination and captivity as he sees fit, could then turn around and fall in love with said man. Really? This storyline had me seething and I did not want a HEA a

Debt Repaid is the conclusion of Easton and Charlottes duet. I enjoyed this duet. Easton is dark and gritty while Charlotte wants to break from the princess mold everyone has stuck her into. Easton is hell bent on revenge and may just lose the one thing he has coveted in the process. Charlotte continues to fight for her freedom, but her freedom may be with the man who holds her captive and claimed her body and heart.

This book has a few surprises, but also brings you closure with Easton and Char

A Debt Owed must be read before reading A Debt Repaid.

Oh my dayz I loved this story hard. Read in one sitting as I couldn’t possibly put it down.

In book one we see Easton take Charlotte and marry her. She’s lost her freedom but she’s still fighting for it. She’s now found freedom but for how long as Easton will do anything to find her.

I couldn’t get enough of these characters and this duet. I didn’t want it to end. The author had me on the edge of my seat reading it.

I wonder what the author has

Clarissa has out done herself in this book 2 and really brought everything together for me. I absolutely loved the emotions, the personal growth and the changes in the characters. She brought in a great additional something to this book that while it was still hot and steamy and a little dark there was some fabulous emotion built in.

Wow wow wow!! I was very eagerly awaiting this book after finishing book 1.....and I was richly rewarded. A Debt Repaid begins where A Debt Owed leaves off so I didn't feel like I was missing anything. It was the perfect conclusion to this must read duet.
