Stealing Her is the first book in the new series, Covet by Rachel Van Dyken. I never know how I’m going to feel about a book where the brother or sister falls for the significant other of their sibling, let alone how that is going to work when it is twins. I was pleasantly surprised by the tone and plot of story; it worked in a wa

Unfortunately, Stealing Her was my least favorite out of all of Rachel Van Dyken’s books I’ve read so far though overall, it was still an okay read.

In general, I just think the plot of this novel was a little far-fetched. It was a bit weird how the relationship of Isobel and Julian was pretty much over at the start of the book but once his twin brother Bridge had to step in for him after his accident and began tr

The blurb totally sucked me into this book. I loved the idea about a twin pretending to be their sibling. It was a bit unrealistic, but I did really enjoy the switcharoo storyline.

I loved Bridge’s character. He was a respectable hero and he had good reasons for participating in the deceit. I was rooting for him the whole way through.

Isabel was a bit harder to love. I just wanted her to stick up for herself and tell Julian to go take a hike. But, if she had done that, there would have been no s

I really enjoyed reading Stealing Her. This book is definitely for those that love a good angsty romance.
Bring on Book 2 cause I loved this one.

It felt so foreign, his skin. My eyes traced down his insanely built body.
And in my soul, I knew there was something I was missing.

Stealing Her was a passionate story about love, betrayal, hope and sacrifice. Like all of Rachel Van Dyken's books, I was swept away from that first page. The prologue was in the past and set the stage perfectly. We saw the family dynamics that shocked me and instantly made me feel sympathy and compassion towards Bridge. From there we got taken on a

This book had me all over the damn place. From feeling hopeful to uncomfortable to practically swooning with glee, my emotions were put through the wringer in Stealing Her. The reason for this was my simultaneous adoration for the characters as well as slight repulsion at what they were doing. I wanted them to have their happily ever-after and yet I acutely disliked the only means in which they could attain it. Despite the emotional roller-coaster and the

I am a big fan of Rachel Van Dyken. While I did enjoy this book, I missed the humor I usually find in her stories. Izzy and Bridge were great and I could feel Bridge's distress and dread at what he got forced into (the father was a monster). I just felt like Izzy shouldn't have been fooled so easily. I did feel a bit bad for Julian, but you reap what you sow. I can't wait to see how he is redeemed in the next book.

I had other books queued up ready to read, and then I stumbled across the blurb for “Stealing Her.” I just knew I had to dive in immediately! What a ride! I was waiting for the other shoe to drop the entire time. The angst and suspense kept me turning the pages in anticipation, waiting to see when and how the twist would hit!

This book ended like what I’ve come to expect from a duet...a very cliffy ending! Although it’s not labeled as such, or doesn’t appear to be marketed

“No matter what happens.”

What was the reason you read the book? It was on my angsty list. Plus, the whole twin thing is intriguing.

And how was it? It was interesting. I thought there would be more struggles.

What's it about? Julian gets in a bad car wreck and is in a coma. Their father comes to Bridge and makes him an offer he cannot refuse. Their parents had divorced before they went to high school and their father kept them apart but now Bridge has to totally take over J

My sister has been a huge fan of Rachel’s for a while and she’s been constantly on at me to read one of her books so when I seen the info about this one I knew I had to give it a shot. It’s sounded exactly like the kind of book I love to read and boy, I was right. It was absolutely amazing!

This was a pretty good read, although it was one that left me feeling angsty throughout pretty much the whole thing. The whole twin swap thing had to come to a head at some point, and it just kept me on edge.

I really liked Bridge. He was a great male lead, and whilst the whole situation is just a bit unbelievable and far-fetched, I suppose in the lives of the rich and famous, this like this could really happen. He had

I am a huge Rachel Van Dyken fan. When I read the blurb for Stealing Her, I was beyond excited to receive an ARC for this book. Twin brothers separated when their parents divorce is a premise that initially reminded me a little of The Parent Trap except for the fact that Julian and Bridge's father is a narcissistic egomaniac.

Bridge was raised by his mother in humble surroundings where they didn't have much financially but she provided him with everything she could and he always knew he was love

This was a great story that had some twists and turns. Bridge hasn't seen his identical twin brother in years, not since they were ripped apart in middle school. When their parents divorced, they each got a child and that was that. Years pass and when an accident occurs Bridge is asked to do the unthinkable, but for the sake of his brother and his mom, he gives in. Everyone has things that really aggravate them. Mine is the whole twins that no one can tell apart. My best friends growing up were identical twins. While others had difficulty telling them apart, I did not. People who loved them did not. The thought that a woman who was in love with one twin would be able to be fooled for a long period of time is just ridiculous. Could they fool people who did not know them, certainly. Could they have fool

I was hooked from the start! The story captivated my attention as I wondered what would happen next.
Isobel or Izzy was at the center of all this. The tangled love story was told in such a beautiful way. Though it was a little messy it ended with Izzy and the right guy for her.
Julian and his brother's dad was an awful man. He did things only for the purpose of making money and publicity stunts. I was elated to see him get what he fully deserved.
