I really like these DC Superhero books for Children. They take a superhero and parallel his daily activities and happenings with that of a child. In this book they are comparing a child getting ready for his birthday to a day in the life of Batman. The text is simple and easy to read and understand. The illustrations are absolutely adorable, with the young boy smiling so wide. A great way to teach children that they can overcome and be brave. These would be great books for those children who love superheroes. My grandson enjoyed this story and thought the little boy was just like Batman. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book upon request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own.

A very cute and fun picture book that make a parallel between the life, and mostly birthday party, of a young boy and a day in the Batman life. Original, fun and with a positive message/motivation in it. The illustration are beautiful and, in my opinion, very attractive for young eyes. I like it!

This is such a cute series of books in which the protagonist, and a superhero match up their days. Wonder Woman might be fighting crime, and the protagonist is fighting to get their homework done.

In this version, the progatonist is getting ready for their party, and Batman is going about their day. The child is so happy, it is infectious.





This whole series is a delight, and there are stories that star both girls and boys. Highly recommended.

A very cute story about a kid honoring the Dark Knight's 80th birthday by throwing a Batman-themed party for all his friends. I love the interwoven, connected-but-also-not stories here. The duel significance of each line and how they apply to both sides of the story was pretty cool and clever. And the art is absolutely adorable.

This DC series has been a hit with the kids in my house and my classroom. The easy flow between superhero and every day child hero is wonderful. We love how children can conquer challenges just like their favorite super heroes. This will be perfect for birthdays as gifts or to read on special days.

This is a fun book for a birthday kid who loves Batman. They will see all the heroes and villains they love from the superhero's story and enjoy getting ready for the boy's birthday party.
