Yes!!!!!!

God wanted Dex and Emma’s story so bad reading book one and oh man my girl Claudia did not disappoint with this one.

There are so many little things that are like these extras you get if you’ve read book 1 just so so good.

Now I need more. I need all the stories for all my faves in this series

Okay so I have wanted this story since it’s not home without you!!!

And C. lymari did not disappoint!!

The chemistry between Dex and Emma is PERFECT!

There are sooo many moments that are going to leave you hot and bothered and others where you are going to be sitting there chugging your wine with tears running down your face.

This book will have you on an amazing emotional rollercoaster! And that’s just how I love my books!

The perfect cup of love

When I read my first book by C.Lymari, I was so intrigued by Dex’s character - umm hello sexy cop? Sign up me please. I was also curious as to what lead him and Emma down the path they were at. So I begged and begged and begged... okay so it was just like once 😉 for his story. So y’all are welcome😛

Nothing prepared me for the sweetest love story that is Dex and Emma. You fall in love more with the town and it’s people and learn to hate Abbigail even more. Yep thAt is even possible.

Dex is the ying to Emma’s yang. The creamer to her coffee and the bullet to her gun ... okay so the last one was a stretch and too soon? They complete each other

Be ready to fall head over heals in love with this couple. And don’t forget Dex is mine...the author says so herself.

I have found my new addiction! If you aren't reading this series, you are missing out! There is DRAMA! The rich, the poor, the popular and the scorned are all interconnected in this small town.

In The Way Back Home, we get Dex and Emma's story. If you read It's Not Home Without You then you know there is chemistry between them but Emma was reluctant to have a relationship with Dex. Now we get to know what really happened.

These two are fantastic but here's what really grabbed me - this story shows that not everything is as it seems in this small town. The character I hated in book one, I felt sorry for in this book and I think I will eventually fall for him. We get to see some of the events that happened in Max and Freya's story but in a different light - and not in a redundant way.

I can't wait for the next story - I'm already hooked!

Ok wow I loved everything about The way Back home it's everything I was looking for and more , this I book 1.5 in the Haco series it can be read as a standalone but I do recommend that you read it's not home without you . C Lymari just made me want to read more by her in the future she just made me fall for the characters along with the story line . Emma is truly incredible and lovable my heart hurt for her through out the book but she was so strong and just amazing . Dex oh oh oh Dex he was a great hero but at times he did frustrate me with how he would go about things overall he stole my heart big time . I can't wait to read more by the author and the series .

Welcome back to Sunny Pines, and to Emma's Coffee! I LOVED Dex and Emma's story. Ever since I read It's Not Home Without You I've been dying to know what went down between the two of them, and I was so excited to read this. Dex is swoony and funny, I want Emma to be my BFF, and I just loved them together. Their story was full of humour, tension, heat, and sweetness - all the ingredients to make a coffee of pure happiness (did you see what I did there with the coffee reference?!).
If I could add a quote, that could be written on the board in the coffee shop, that reminds me of this story, it would be this:

English:
"The Way Back Home" by C.Lymari is the second book in the "Homecoming" series. It is a contemporary romance with characters who find themselves on a roller coaster of emotions and sensations.

Emma Miller owns a coffee shop and has no time for men, but Dex Hendrix made her feel something, even though he was flirting with her in front of his girlfriend, wasn't she? However, his feelings are not clear. When Dex saw her, he knew it would be his, even if everything was against him.

This book follows the previous one, but with different characters. For that, you know everything that is around them. Having read the previous book you can see Dex's point of view and how everything influenced him with his family. We also know Freya's scene at that crucial moment. As for the characters, who can't fall in love with Dex? He' s perfect, although a little confused about what's in front of him. Emma is so sweet with a big heart, although she doesn't want to play it much. The whole relationship is understood until the moment when love unites both. In the previous book I also liked the blackboard with each note of the day, it was very funny, but in this one, I noticed some authors of these small notes, which expressed many hidden feelings. I must also say that I didn't like Prescott at all in the previous book, but this one changed everything. I am very impatient for the couples who will appear in the following books.

I absolutely loved Dec's and Emma's story! Ever since I read the first book 'It's Not Home Without You'. I was really intrigued as to find out what went down with these two! and their story did not disappoint!

I loved both of these characters and found they worked really well together! I loved that it was a build up over time and wasn't just feel in love within a month like most books! & I loved the fact that the story run along side the same time as the first book 📙

Honestly my favorite parts of the books are the quotes!! Just such a great idea and different! 💡

'In the end , we only regret the chances we didn’t take.'

If your looking for a second chance romance that will completely melt your heart, then look no further! Also check out the first one in the series ;)

I'm very much looking forward to the next book in this series! C.Lymari is definitely one to watch out for!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review

If y’all haven’t read a book by Ms Claudia Lymari do yourself big by doing so... love her quirky ladies and they’re alpha counterparts. such a swoon worthy easy read. Dex was as awesome as I knew he would be and I loved the easy transition from It’s Not Home Without You between the timelines and the characters.

"𝑺𝒉𝒆’𝒔 𝒂 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒓, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒆’𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎."
Well thats this short novella is all about. Our little Emma is a dreamer. The cute little ray of "sunshine" dreamt of opening her own Coffee shop which actually came true! And her other dream was Dexter 'Dex' Hendrix. She wanted him the moment she laid eyes on him but thought that he belonged to another woman(later she found he was single and very much ready to mingle with her). Unfortunately for them there was a huge misunderstanding (due to a certain evil person...Gah) and their love story went to pieces along with Dex leaving town for the big city. But they are kinda destined to be together. They were meant to be. So when Dex returns home after healing from a fatal incident as the new police in town,he actively tries to persue Emma. But invain. Thats natural(You leave the town and expect the girl to wait for you is a ridiculous notion. Total delusion, dude). Not happening! Thats what our lovely Emma told him to his face(you go girl!!👐👌). But we all know what happens when sugar meets spice. Don't get me wrong,I liked Emma but the girl was too sweet for my taste. I acquired some kinda diabetes while reading whats going in her beautiful head but our Dex just balanced her sweetness with his dirty words. In short they did get their happily ever after but after a lot of mouse and cat chase at that. Their chemistry was hot. I have to give it to Claudia, she just aced the chemistry part. Loved it completely. The constant pull and push between them was supposed to be too irritating at the point but suprising I enjoyed Dex's grovelling skills. Our Emma is not as sweet as she lets people think. That girl can hold a grudge. And someone should shake some sense into Abigail. I felt sorry for her in the first book. She clearly loved Max but now I don't feel so bad for her cause that girl's a total tool sometimes.I don't wanna say too much but this book surprisingly reveals a lot about Prescott and I can't wait for his book in the series! This story takes place in the same time frame of the first book and I loved to revisit Max and Freya(I am a great fan of Freya!😍). The most surprising part was Prescott and Emma's friend. It was totally unexpected but very welcoming(Gah coz I am dying for his story ). In simple words, I loved it more than I expected to love it. A solid ❤❤❤❤ read for me. Its a must read in the series. Thank you @clymari for this ARC. I honestly loved it. Another Sunny Pine hit! Happy reading ...xoxo. P.s. waiting for prescott's story😜🙃

Here’s another perfect example why I love working with or reading Debut/ newer Authors. I know, I know you will hear me say this a lot but it is one of my most favorite things to witness.
☀️
The growth in writing styles between book 1 and book 2 just shocked me. You can feel the maturity and experience coming through. It just made the story that much more enjoyable, to be able to witness it, and to see that growth.
☀️
I read a comment somewhere about our heroin and how they don’t understand why our hero, who is a charismatic gentleman, would have any interest in our heroin the author responded something to the extent of: that’s love. I agree that you become extraordinary in the eyes of the person who loves you regardless if the rest of the world doesn’t see that.
☀️
However, I disagree with the original comment. Emma is worth something. Emma is worth Dex.I feel our heroine is sweet home grown small town girl. You get the sweetness but also the sass. Is she this sassy, bossy, spit fire who rules. No. But she is the one who gives the benefit to others, even when she might have seen them at their lowest.
☀️
I also love a good eye rolling story where you just want to shake the characters, yelling at them to communicate, and that they are being stupid. Because let’s be honest, that’s the real world. I have no doubt if my life was a book, a reader would have thrown it already a time or two.
☀️
All in all I love how Dex was set on winning his girl, that everyone but Emma knew it. I absolutely loved, that she made him work for it. But ultimately, I love when Emma uses his full name.
☀️
This book is full of banter, lust, miscommunication, Hearts that are little bent, and two people who just need to be together.
Basically, read it!

This is my second time in Sunny Pines! And I am so glad to go back.

I was so happy to see this was Dex and Emma’s story. I loved Emma in the first book and always wondered what their story was. Well NOW I know!

Emma, sweet, sweet, shy Emma. Oh boy did I just love this lady!! Like I said loved her in book 1. Now I love me a sassy and fierce heroine but I also love them very sweet, shy and not out there for the world to see. For as long as she could remember her dream was to open her own coffee shop. I know odd dream to have as a kid but she knew she would get that when she was older and she sure as heck did! Worked out great in her little town. Then she runs into the town snotty rich b*tch but she isn’t alone. No she is with a handsome mystery man, very very handsome and he is eyeing her up and down.

Dex wasn’t a small town kind of guy. He too was making his dreams come true of becoming the best cop out there! Then he meets an angel who looks like sunshine with her blonde curls. But can he get her to go out with him and hold on to her?

Dex and Emma are so perfect for each other. Claudia writes such beautiful love stories with a twist. Her writing is amazing and just makes you feel like you are best friends with these characters and right there living in this small town!

Love Dex and Emma!

Well First I want to start by congratulating Claudia in this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G second book. The quotes that Claudia writes throughout the book are phenomenal "Never be afraid to speak what's on your mind". How awesome is that?. When I read The first book in the series "It's Not Home Without You" I felt in love with Dex and Emma's characters and I wanted to know more of their story. Their interactions are super entertaining I was literally laughing so hard in some scenes especially of some thoughts that Emma had in her head. I enjoyed reading how they met and how they got to know each other the first time Dex was in town. Emma is a sweetheart and even though she lacks on self confidence she compensated that with her charismatic personality and goodness that she shows everyone around her. Dex *dirty mouth Dex 🔥*, sexy cop who thought wanted better bigger things in life of what the little town of Sunny Pines were able to offer him. Emma gave Dex a chance when they first met and he took it for granted, now he needs to work extra hard to win Emma's trust back. Would Emma trust Dex with her hearth again? You need to read this book to find out.

Find your way back home with this sweet, second chance-esque love story

4.5 stars for this heartwarming tale of mishaps, ill timings, and serendipity working overtime to overcome it all 💖 Miss Claudia's 2nd novel left me deep in love with Dex and Emma's story and hungry for more!

This was so much of what I love in a good contemporary romance: angst, humor, a sweet heroine whose got a little bite to go with soft bark, and an alpha who is relentless in pursuing the girl who grinds his beans in all the right ways 😉

I fell in love with the small town whose cast of loveable characters weave intricately through the fabric of each ither's lives and the realistic look at what makes Main Street America so grand 👏 I look so forward to seeing more out of these characters in the subsequent books of the series, particularly Prescott and the youngsters who have made a home at Emma's Coffee Shop 😊 His lost love conundrum has me so spellbound and I wonder what is in store for him in the future.

NOTE: There is a book 1 in this series, but this can be enjoyed as a standalone. 💖

Cute story and great companion to Book 1.

So you really should read Book 1 - It's Not Home Without You first. You will get SO MUCH MORE out of this story as it ties in perfectly. So I wanted to know about Dex and Emma from Book 1 and this one did not disappoint.

Dex is looking for bigger and better things and doesn't realize what he's got until he leaves town. Emma is pining for the one who got away even if she didn't really have him in the first place. Circumstances bring Dex back and he really has his work cut out for him for Emma to give him a second chance.

I did feel that the ending was a little rushed - I would have made Dex work for it a lot more.

Dex and Emma's story is sweet with inherent ups and downs, some of which you know from Book 1 or will come as a complete surprise.

Great quick read!

YES!!!! Dex and Emma get their book!!! If you have read It’s Not Home Without You, then you already know that Dex has been chasing Emma! He is like the perfect guy: gorgeous, funny, well mannered and persistent. Very persistent! Emma is perfect for him! She is like a little ray of sunshine.

Dex has his work cut out for him, though. Living in a small town, everyone talks. That means that everyone knows what happened when he left town. Now he’s back, and Emma doesn’t know if she will ever be willing to be the talk of the town again. Good Luck Dex! You’re going to need it!

If you like second chance romance, you’re going to love Dex and Emma’s story! I couldn’t put it down! You do not have to read It’s Not Home Without You, but Freya works at Emma’s Cafe 😉. What I need to know is-when do we get to read more about Preston??? I’m dying to know more about him!!

This is Emma & Dex's story. Emma returns home to open a cafe on her own, despite her parents misgivings. She meets Dex, the cousin of the snobby Abigail. If you've read the previous book you will know who she is however enough is explained in this story so you're kept abreast of the tale.
Dex wants more with his life & to leave the town & while the chemistry is there the time wasn't right. However when he returns a year later, he doesn't expect the poor reception he gets from Emma & spends most of the book trying to win her back.
The timeline is almost parallel to the other book so you don't miss much.
Overall a good small town tale.

Ok so I love this book and totally identified with the mc Emma, because 1, my name is Emma, 2 like the character I also have blonde curly hair and lastly I also have green eyes! 😂 But seriously Emma is such a great character, she’s sweet, slightly shy but will stick up for herself! She’s a great friend and listener and people are naturally drawn to her despite her quiet demeanour. She meets the very dreamy Dex & despite being attracted to him she keeps him at arms length until she can weigh him up. Dex is instantly smitten with Emma but it’s a case of the grass is greener, only it turns out he had it pretty damn good and didn’t realise it! The chemistry between them is insane and the story is so well written! I love it!

Loved the first book ‘It’s Not Home Without You’ in this series and was so excited to find out the author wrote this book to tell the story of Dex and Emma. Emma is a girl who lacks a lot of self confidence but has strength to be jealous of. Dex is very confident but know he needs the sweet Emma in his life. Getting her was harder than he thought😊. This book did not disappoint. This book and author keeps you entertained the entire way, you will not want to put it down.

This is a sweet love story between Emma and Dex. The author brings a small town romance with strong , well developed characters and fills it with enough drama to keep things interesting , bringing it to life with her vividly painted scenes. It's well written , moves quickly and smoothly and had me hooked throughout. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Home field advantage! There is no place like home! Remember this. This is book 1.5 in the HOCO series and a story many of us were waiting for! We wanted to know Emma's and Dex's story and learn more about the coffee shop and those quotes so thank you Claudia for writing this novella. If you love small towns, like Sunny Pines you will love it even more with a Coffee shop. Dex and Emma were full of tension from the moment they met, chemistry was hot, they were sweet and the laughter these characters and the secondary characters gave you made for one good cup of coffee. Dex never thought he'd want to come back to this small town, he was meant for bigger and brighter cities. Emma may be a small piece to change his mind, but it takes leaving to see that the grass may not be as green on the other side as you thought. He has a lot of quotes to write in the coffee shop to get Emma to forgive him for leaving. HaHa You will see that you can make a difference in a small town and be happy when it is your time to shine. This book can be read as a standalone if you choose, we got this story after the release of book one so you can choose the way you wish to pick up this story, just make sure you have a coffee on hand as Emma makes it perfect based upon a person's mood and fits to a T. I love reading this series and this novella gave us the lighter side of things as you will see in the other books that deal with heavier things that want you to travel to Sunny Pines and shake some sense into those characters and their actions.
