Very detailed. She records each step in tracing her husbands and her own family. The ups and the downs. Useful 'What I learned' lists throughout the book and 'Tips worth remembering' at the end. Also a useful list of web sites. She has her own helpful web site at http://www.dianemarelli.co.uk/
