A retelling of the classic folktale of a runaway gingerbread man by Ed Arno. An okay version. The illustrations are so so.

Recommended Grade Level: Early Primary
This is such a classic and well-liked story. My Mom's preschoolers absolutely love and request it all the time! Because of its repetitive pattern, even the younger students can follow along and feel as if they are reading too.
