I really did find parts of this useful as Aicher brought up plenty of points I hadn't considered before. The only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars is that when talking about formatting Amazon landing pages here mentions that formatting the page but doesn't specifically explain how. (Or if he did my tired eyes missed it.) Took a few tries for me to get it right. Still waiting to see how it'll affect sales for me but there is a lot of great information here that I do recommend it for those that need the extra help. I don't think this is a book that any indie author will regret picking up.
An excellent guide on the basics of Amazon listings and very good advice on optimizing landing pages for the best results. The blurb templates alone are invaluable material. Great read.
While marketing my previous books i never thought book cover's colors were so important in the buying process. I always thought of making it look nice but not about that small details. Aside the book cover, there are tons of good advices Bill gives to authors for the marketing of their book. I recommend any authors of writes to look for them.
After self-publishing my first book three years ago and writing three more books since, I can say this about my experience: I love the research and writing part; I despise the marketing and promotion aspect. Unfortunately, the parts I hate are all a piece of the package for a self-published author. That's where this book comes in.
I've read several books before on this topic in addition to countless articles and blog posts, but most of the tips are self-explanatory things that I was doing anyway. This book, however, offers some practical tips that anyone can easily implement. Additionally, Aicher provides several templates to improve the dreaded "blurb." Although I write nonfiction, there were still a couple of templates that I can use.
Aicher makes no guarantees, which is refreshing. He simply offers practical advice and at $3.99, it is quite a value. I look forward to implementing some of the tips to help increase my conversion rates.
A powerful tool for any indie author, with a step-by-step guide and practical application to convert your Amazon landing page into sales! Aicher approaches the subject with intensive knowledge from his years as a marketing executive, translating that into an easy to follow formula that new to seasoned authors can and should implement.
A short book full of practical advice on how to improve your Amazon listing to increase sales. It all makes sense and seems very straight forward, and I’m looking forward to putting the advice into practice to see if it yields results. Highly recommended for the self published author.
Great book with much-needed, invaluable advice for indie authors. Aicher knows a lot, and shares it all, with useful templates and designs for you to sell more books.
I really liked that I could read this book in one sitting (even if it was two). Aicher goes straight to the point and nails it. Bonus blurb templates are great. I recommend this book to all levels of aspiring authors.
