This volume is based on a 22-month study of the ecology and behavior of Varanus grayi on two Philippine Islands. This monitor subsists on a highly specialized diet, fruit and molluscs, and its physiology is uniquely specialized to this diet. The volume presents the only field study of only regularly frugivorous lizard species in the world. No ownership marks and no signs of use.
