This reads like a more intelligent Bobsey Twins novel - the kids are believably childlike, their adventures relatable, and each child has their own distinct personality. In the realm of "too cute early 20th century fiction," this sits at the top of the heap.

One of my favourite childhood reads! Charming, entertaining, and wholesome with an interesting feeling of the times that it was published in. A great book!
