I read the synopsis after listening and man it’s vague..which I think it a good thing, but since I try not to mention anything not mentioned there, it leaves me feeling tongue tied. I love going into the audiobooks blind. Dark is an auto-buy for me. I’ve listened to all her ...more
I'll start off by saying that this wasn't my favorite book in this series. The reason behind it is a totally subjective personal annoyance for me, which is: kids, even worse annoying kids. That's it. The writing and the overall pacing of the story were amazing. Would I have liked a little more Christian and Raven witty banter? Sure, but I'm happy with what I got either way!
On a positive note, we got to know much more about Niko. It shined a spotlight on the problems his pas ...more
After two very frustrating instalments of back and forth with Raven and Christian I’m happy to report this latest release includes no relationship drama
Back to action packed jobs for keystones members and we get POVs from characters we haven’t heard from yet. I loved hearing their stories and it brought life back into this series after listening to Ravens internal struggle for too long.
Every character is so well developed they carry their own story without breaking a sweat.
Moonstruck finds the majority of the Keystone group on a road trip transporting three human teens to safety. Why would they bother with humans? These teens are potentials, which are humans with a birthmark in the shape of a spade. They live in secret because potentials can become any breed. If the humans sleep with a breed they will become the same breed of their sexual partner. Some breeds would use that to their advantage.
The smaller group who stays behind at the Keystone c ...more
I received this book for free from Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Moonstruck by Dannika Dark was a highly anticipated book for me. I love this world, the characters and the narration of the audio.
Moonstruck has the Keystone crew separated. The few that are left at home are dealing with one crisis, while the rest that are on the mission delivering precious cargo dealing with a different set of problems. Neither g
Moonstruck gives more tiny peeks into the history of the residents of Keystone.
A big job for Raven and her merry band of friends brings out the action with their enemies trying to divide and conquer.
It made me smile to see Crush playing a part in this one.
I literally jumped up from chair and cheered for Gem at the end. I’ve got great faith in her that she won’t let Niko down 😉
I hate that it ended on a cliff hanger, but I'm dying to find out what happens with Niko and Gem. I cannot wait until the next installment. If you like urban fantasy - you ...more
I love this series it's my favorite, after the Mageri series. I feel in love with Chrisian Poe in the Mageri series so happy his story continues, he and Raven are perfect for each other, it would be amazing to see some of the Mageri characters in this series.
While I enjoy catching up the characters every single time, my enjoyment of the individual books is not always as consistent. Some books are amazing! Others - like this one... not so much. Luckily, ...more

I really missed Keystone. This is a well written series with a believable world building and interesting characters. I love that is a true Adult Fantasy novel. The characters are grown up, they have grown up problems, and for the most part they have grown up adventures and solutions. You're not gonna get everything wrapped in a bow at the end, but Dannika Dark also doesnt leave you with major cliffhangers... until this one 🤣 But it's not the type that makes yo ...more
Firstly, I seriously love this Author's creativity & work and every series she's written including this one!😍
I found much of this story slow going & sluggish which isn't what I expected, especially after the kind of casual/laid back nature of book 6, which I loved - I had been anticipating book #7 being fast paced & explosive and it isn't at all!!😔
There are two storylines running concurrently. Gem & Wyatt are ...more
There’s just something about the way that Dark world builds and writes her characters that just feels so authentic. I was hesitant when she started introducing different perspectives, as sometimes jumping pov can be a little jarring and overcomplicates an otherwise good narrative. But the ...more
I tried to put off reading this book for as long as I could, because I knew I would blow through it and then have a massive book hangover. I was right. I have no willpower when it comes to reading the Crossbreed Series. The characters of Keystone come alive for me, their stories are multifaceted yet they tie into one cohesive adventure that I can’t put down until the very last page.
Raven and Christian are everything. They have developed into this fantastic couple that light the ...more
I enjoyed this much more than Nevermore, which I unfortunately never got around to actually finishing. The more adventurous Moonstruck has the Keystone team divided up into a home team and an away team, and neither group has it easy. There are MANY obstacles facing our heroes here and lots of injuries and setbacks. Once again, Raven & Christian really stand out as battle-hardened warriors who don't know the meaning of quit. Seriously, I wouldn't mind a spin off series with just these 2 ch ...more
Keystone has a job to do. It’s a secret mission, one that’s possibly one of the most important missions they’ve had in years. It’s one of those that Christian, Raven, Claude, Blue and Niko know no details of until Victor has them half way to the final destination. It’s a lot of secrets, qui ...more
Nevermore floundered a little without a strong plot. That, and enduring a full book of Raven whining and complaining was a bit much to swallow. For a woman that powers through everything, she sure knows how to throw herself a pity party.

Moonstruck is ripe with excitement, good times, bad times, pleasant times and dangerous times. The development of the characters continues in here. Hunter comes into play more. Crush and crew are back as well. And the regular gang have a mission that takes them away from Keystone ...more
I have no clue how Dannika Dark keeps writing these amazing stories but she totally did it again! I have never before wanted to throw my ereader so much as when I realized I had finished this story! I loved it! I was not ready for it to be over. The Keystone team had yet another amazing adventure, but it was more like a 2 for 1 because the team wasn't all together so there were multiple adventures to read... it was so awesome how they were very subtly interconnected though so it ...more
I’ve read everything Dannika has written and I will continue to do so, as long as she keeps writing. I absolutely love following Raven’s story as well as the rest of the Keystone crew. I’m happy to see where the story is going. While this one did leave me with a bit of a cliffhanger standing on the edge begging for more I still loved this book. I do have some theories working in my brain over a few things left unexplained but that’s what keeps the intrigue right? Those lit ...more
Just when you think things are going more smoothly for the Keystone Team, their latest mission brings old adversaries back on the scene..
Along with twists in the tale & new characters being trusted to defend the Manor...
I'm sure any fans reading this latest book in the series, will be as enthralled as I was..
I seriously couldn't put it down & the only disappointment I experienced, was reading the last page..
