A delightfully crafty story from ancient China. A wealthy rat family wants to marry their daughter to the son of the cat clan for more power and influence. Watch what happens when these arrogant rats attend the wedding and pay the ultimate price for their hubris. The illustrations are engaging for young readers, and the reading style is great for all ages.
