"What did the police do when 200 hares escaped from the rabbit farm? They combed the area". This joke is one of the thousands of jokes in The Gigantic Joke Book. The author of the book is Joseph Rosenbloom. He first came up with the idea when he was a kid in elementary school. The publisher however was not a friend from school. But it started by him and his friends talking about random jokes one day and decided that someone should make a book just for jokes. It was easy at that point for the book to start having a bigger variety of jokes. This book can make someone laugh or giggle, not matter at what age. I believe that anyone can find something entertaining in this book. It is extremely humorous and a joyful book to read. There was a couple of corny jokes that I thought shouldn't have been in that book, but that's just my opinion. Some other people don't have a taste for humor, but I happen to do. If you are somebody interested in this book but doesn't have a taste in humor whatsoever, do not get this book.
I recommend this book to people that are looking for an easy read or to hear a couple of new jokes. If you a have a sense of humor, you would love this book. It has a wide selection of story jokes, quick one-liners, and a couple of different topics to pick from. I thought it was a three because at my age, I found most of these jokes a little corny. But to be honest, there was a couple of new ones that I thought were funny and so did my friends. I think that the best way to read this book is when you have any free time. If you and your friends don't know what to do and have free time, crack open this book and see how much fun you have. I thought that this was a good book and hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, if not more. Have fun!
