The Black Flame novelization of the first Final Destination movie to accompany the newest in the series. A gang of young students headed for France somehow escape certain death when one of their number has an eerie premonition. But Death is not denied so easily, and the hunt begins as he sets out to collect their souls.
NATASHA RHODES is the British-born author of a worrying number of popular novels about vampires and werewolves, including the smash-hit movie blockbusters 'Blade: Trinity,' 'Final Destination: The Movie 1 and 2,' and 'A Nightmare on Elm Street: Perchance To Dream.' Her original Kayla Steele Vampire Hunter novels have been published internationally to occasional critical acclaim.
Natasha currently works on the Research & Threat Intelligence team of a major cybersecurity company. She'd write a book about her experiences if she thought anyone would believe her. She currently lives in in Orange County, California, with her husband (the bass player in a Motley Crue tribute band), and her two rescue cats.
Good adaptation of the movie. Surprisingly none of the deleted scenes or subplots on the DVD releases are in the book. Nor is the alternate ending where Alex dies. It has a few extra flourishes but follows the movie somewhat closely.
I do have some things that need addressed. Ok.. first off. If George is Todd’s older brother then how are they in the same class. ( Was he held back? ) If Terry is supposed to be 16 and half as bright as her hair.. then how is she a senior. A lot of things caught my attention. But it is final destination logic. Little details weren’t thought out. That being said. I’ve read these books before. Ive got all of them in paper back. But the one ( Death of the Senses ) The extra scenes ( I guess that’s what you call them ) made the book so interesting. I did watch the movies first only to realise there was a book series by Black Flame publishing that went out of business. ( I found my books at Barnes and Noble before they became expensive and before black flame went lights out like some of the characters do in this book. ).. bad joke.. if you have copies keep them. They are worth between $200 to $500 asking price. 3.5/5⭐️s.
this is a really good noverelization, there are many extended parts and even deleted scenes from the movie being used here and it was done well and an enjoyable read
