Great insights from an amazing and inspirational leader and writer. It's a pocket book that works magic at lunch to stir your ideas how to lead and equip others better. I liked a lot of great ideas from this book, some of them:

This is by far the best of the “101” books by John Maxwell. It is very basic but gives you a good understanding of what it takes to be a leader. I look forward to reading more from his in-depth books on the subject.

Es un libro excelente pero muy resumido, no profundiza en cada tema sino que los trata por la superficie, pero eso lo hace genial porque es como dar un repaso por todos los temas que aborda.

It's a lil book that's full of nuggets, you literally can finish this so quick. I love John Maxwell & all his leadership books, it's relatable & you can tell that he writes it in light of Gods word like unity & teamwork. Leadership & servanthood & so on & so forth.

This is my second book by John Maxwell. Similar to my review of Mentoring 101, I was taken aback that this book had nothing in particular that is distinctively Christian which makes it odd given how it's promoted so much among Christian circles. Other than Maxwell stating that he was a successful pastor in the book with the largest church in his denominiation, there's nothing explicitly Christian or Biblically driven here. This is the fourth book I have read by John Maxwell and have learned something from all, this particular one to me focuses so much on team work and how important it is. He states how you can not find one "act of genuine significance in the history of mankind" that was done alone. His writing is so powerful, educational, and motivational. I own 4 of the What Every Leader Needs to Know series and have now read all. I would love to keep reading them and strongly suggest them to other readers. There

Another great little book from Maxwell on "equipping" or training leaders. I love how maxwell consistently teaches his readers to focus on adding value to other people. His message is always "other" centered instead of "self" centered. This book follows that same theme in that its all about finding, developing and leading other leaders on your team. Great book for learning the basics of leading a team. Taught me that if I don't give people the means to succeed then they just won't; this meant I need to give more tools and be less stingy about how I do things.
