Meeting Will Darcy pretty much turned Lizzie’s whole world upside down! There she is minding her own business, waiting for this ‘producer’ that will turn Jane into the movie star, that mum wants her to be, and she sees him. Her soulmate. The one. Inexplicably her yin to her yang...or is he?

One overheard conversation, and a clever retort later, Lizzie storms off, seething.

If you enjoy a light hearted romance, this is most definitely for you. Lizzie is your typical ‘Bridget Jones’ type character

I was offered this book by the author from the Library Thing
This was a clean, easy , funny summer read. This was my first read of a Lizzy Bennet Diary book.
Lizzy is a college graduate, living at home, trying to become a novelist. Will Darcy is a lawyer. Charles Bingley who is a Hollywood producer buys a house in Bend, California. This book was absolutely charming. Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorites, and the film version with Keira Knightley especially has a special place in my heart. And this novel, which is a modern take on the classic using the fictional diary entries of Lizzie Bennett, reminds me so much of that movie.
