This book was required for a computer science elective course. It's part of the same series as the Rosen discrete math book, so expect the same format, with chapters centered on definitions/examples and a wide range of exercises. We only looked at the first few chapters, and I would say it's a serious, concise introduction to the topic. For the same reasons, it's heavy on mathematical notation. I wouldn't recommend it as a main resource for self-study.

O livro contém bastantes exemplos dos algoritmos que ajudam a acompanhar os ataques e as suas falhas.
Deliciosa a cadeira, deliciosa toda a arte de encriptar e (mais delicioso ainda) de atacar (!)
