Like I read in Deadly Pretender: The Double Life of David Miller, this is another tale of a manipulator playing long cons on people, such as a successful dentist, that one may think would not be conned. Add to this incest, exotic birds, and a surprising not guilty verdict and you have an astounding true crime book.

I had to dig a little deeper to find out what became of Viriginia.

This 90’s true crime is a cross between Maury Povich and Unsolved Mysteries. The murderer or murderers here are bizarre.

Despite the content, the book is very “light” and quite entertaining. True crime fans will understand.
