New alliances might make them stronger … or destroy everything they’ve grown to love.

Torn from everything she knows and holds dear, Sloane is forced to navigate a new world without the men who have helped her begin to heal. Her only goal is to figure out how to get back home to them, but now she’s the one being hunted, and not just by the Nyxblud who wants her dead.

Now that they’ve fallen for her, there’s no way in hell Cade, Bane, Nyall, and Judah will let their Hunter go without a fight. Even if that means confronting a Nyxblud with god-like powers and Judah’s bloody past.

Betrayal, sacrifice, and bravery … and a love that defies it all.

Hello! I'm a writer from Nebraska who enjoys fantasy of all kinds. Stories don't always seem quite as much fun without some element of magic.

I started out writing romances because that's what my best friend and I loved to read. (My other best friend and I wrote about our science teacher being an alien and hard boiled detectives.) I have a varied and exciting inner fantasy life, you might say.

My first full length novel was a fun private detective, contemporary, crazy love story. I'm working on rewrites so that I can get it out into the world. The first book I've published is an urban fantasy about a mother who doesn't know how to be a hero, but luckily she's a quick study.

I studied fiction writing at the University of Nebraska at Omaha but didn't truly appreciate the experience. Now that I've written millions of words, I think it might be fun to go back and take some more classes. (It might be fun...or it might be annoying, who knows?)

I love to read and I adore talking to people about writing and reading. And crochet!

Thank you for dropping by and thank you for reading my book. It honors me that you would spend some time in my imaginary world.

Good story but so many editing & plot issues

Ok, first I really enjoyed this entire series. I really liked the unique story and characters and world. I did feel it could have been developed a little further and explained in more detail because it was a bit gauge at times. Like, I wouldn't have minded more detail about the Nyxblud world and how that was different, not that it was just alien but why did they have different blood - was it to do with the environment? It just felt a bit unexplained. I had so many issues with the editing in this book. Sentences that just didn't make sense because they were grammatically incorrect or the words were out of order. It really distracted me from the plot and frustrated me.

Then there were the plot issues I had. In the beginning of this book, they made a big deal about not saying Asta's name out loud because she could hear you, but after they had escaped and were reunited they kept saying her name out loud WHISLST PLOTTING TO KILL HER. It made no sense. And not only was it the just the team but it was the sister and the grandfather. People who should know better. It felt like this huge plot point was set up and then forgotten half way through the book. Very careless writing.

The other big issues I had was in chapter 18. So we assumed that Judah leaving in the previous chapter and being gone for three days that this would pick up off when he left like all other previous chapters in this book but nope, chapter 18 time jumped ahead the three days WITH NO WARNING. it made no sense and really through me through a loop trying to work out why the hell they would be blowing up the spires when they hadn't even lured Asta away out of the city. What did they do in those three days? Just have lots of sex? Who bloody knew.

Also, earlier on in the book it was made very obvious that Asta originally sent Zachariah to assassinate Judah, that seemed logical and they eluded to it several times but then legit two paragraphs later Slone was all: I wonder what 'that task' was like it was all a big flipping mystery when Asta basically just eluded to it. It just felt like once again the author gave away the answer and then pretended to not realise and ask the question after the fact. Maybe this was just another editing issue.

Overall I really enjoyed this story and the idea behind it but the execution of the writing left me a little disappointed.

I've had enough of this.

I honestly don't know how the author could think that her heroine is badass when she's never really shown that. It's the third book already and she's still a weepy, useless fuck.

I thought Sloane was supposed to be a great hunter? Remember in the first book it was said she could have been the youngest hunter in the council if Lucien hadn't died? And now, she's in a foreign land and decides to trust the first woman she meets (a Nyxblud nobody), ends up bound (of course), and can't even freaking escape? Why???

Oh and let's not forget how Spark just conveniently leveled up to a goddess, replacing Raster in the city. And one of the four thought that Spark saved the day. How exactly? She didn't do anything to actively save the city, her level up actually just happened for some reason (unexplained, which as I said, was just totally convenient).

Happy endings all around

This is the end for this really fun series. I was a bit frustrated with this because I was finally starting to understand the human world and now I had to figure out the Nyx world. This author does some awesome worldbuilding but doesn't really explain much about said world. The ending was sweet and I always love a good prologue. Good series as it stands but I'd give it 5 stars if the author went back and added some explanation for the very complex world. Either way, I enjoyed it and I'll read more from this author

This book fell victim to the same problems the first two did: none of the characters were developed enough to have a distinct personality. I had a really hard time, especially during the chapters from a guy's POV, figuring out which character's POV it was. Each person's thoughts, actions, and speech were that interchangeable. Overall, I did enjoy the book and the series but I think I will be hesitant to pick up something by this author again.

Raster City Rumble is book three of the Raster City series. This book started on a plot twist, and dragged the reader through quite a few more unexpected surprises. This has been a fun, fast-paced series…I always enjoy the ride.

Sloane was pushed through the tear by the Nyxblud who hurt her. Now she is in the Nyxblud realm. The guys found a way to get to her, she and the Nyxblud are ahead of them. They know she can can protect herself but they know they must get to their Hunter.

It was a decent ending and I enjoyed it a lot, wish we’d gotten to explore the characters and worlds more. There was also A LOT that happened in this book but what can you do it was their finale!
