Beautiful. Sweet. Innocent. Grace Smith was never meant for a man like me, but that won’t stop me from claiming her. Nothing will. Her fate was sealed the moment I saw her walking down the aisle in a white dress, about to marry another man. She might have been promised to my enemy, but she belonged to me. Only my lips would ever touch hers. After assassinating the groom, I stole her with my bloodied hands. I will kill for her. I will start a war for her. I will die for her. The only thing I’ll never do is let her go.
Repeat read! Still on of my favorite with a dark twist! And boy was Nathan dark!
A must read!
I thoroughly enjoyed "Stolen Grace" because Nathan and Grace's fast-paced story was loaded with nail biting twists and turns. Secondary characters were plentiful -- good vs evil, power corrupts and sane vs insane!
Becca was insane for sure! and Vincent too ...
Really looking forward to David and Faith's story since he was left running Nathan's business.
Nathan Moore plans to kill his enemy Vince De La Rosa on his wedding date, at his wedding reception. Things jump off sooner than planned so Nathan has to roll with it. Needing leverage, Nathan decides to steal the bride, Grace Smith. A woman, he decided he wanted before he even knew he needed her as leverage.
Grace is a sweet, naive, pampered and reluctant Mafia Princess, but Nathan soon exposes another side to her that's been dormant, down deep. Grace realizes truths about herself and about Nathan. When negotiations for her release begin, those plans are quickly thwarted by a resourceful and demented friend. Grace is forced to grow up and become the woman she was always meant to be.
This book is part of a trilogy and begins with Nathan and Grace's Story. Book 2 features David & Faith's Story and I believe that Book 3 will wrap up all loose ends and decide the fate of both couples. WARNING: Triggers abound in this book.
2.5 stars. I’m happy this wasn’t the first Mafia story I’ve read. This book was a challenge for me to complete and I honestly don’t think that I’d read the second book in the series especially if it’s anything like this. There were certain intervals that was worth the 2.5 rating but otherwise this book just didn’t do it for me. But hey everyone is different, you might find it more interesting than I did
Unlike any other mafia book I've ever read. And I don't mean that in a good way. Horrible to the core. It was all over the place. Grace was pregnant before she ran away from home? I didn't even see any timeline here. How much time passed after her rescue? Grace was also dumb as a rock. And as for Nathan,he was laughable as a tough guy. Becca flipping the script as she did was also a joke. Horrible book with stupid book and characters.
This was a different story. Although they are all together, the end was kind of sad. It looks like they will be running for the rest of their lives, and perhaps, history may repeat and Hannah may grow up without her parents as it appears that they can run, but they can’t hide!
Grace Smith is a mafia princess who agreed to marry into another mafia family to protect her father from being murdered but their are those who would like to make sure that doesn't happen. On her wedding day some violence that throws Grace into a situation she never expected and she cannot for the life of her refuse the advances of one Nathan Moore who came into town from Italy and setup his own club in her dad's territory and when she and her best friend Becca Davis sneak out to his club one night and he saves them from one his men and never even notices Grace but she cannot stop thinking about Nathan. An adventure, suspense and romance. Great characters. Enjoyed the story line. This is a triology this was book 1. I received a copy from the publisher without obligation. I am providing an honest review.
This was not typical mafia romance story. This is story of love at first sight or maybe lust at first sight. Main characters are following in their parents into the business, even if their heart is not really in it. There is murder, revenge, friendship, newly discovered love. It has plot twists too mention. I little bit of everything. The author did great job with story. There were some editing errors, that irritate me to no in, but not too many. Recommend this book for all.
This was an interesting and amazing mafia romance novel. There were parts in this book that seem unrealistic but overall this book contains a lot of action. It has mystery, betrayal, dreams, hope, deception, suspense, intrigue, tragedy, ❤break, and finding true love through the madness!!! I won't read the next installment yet but I will. I will be recommending this series to everyone I know!!! Another great series Jayde Payne!!!
This is a well written book with strong, well developed characters and an interesting story line. The author brings tons of action, intrigue and suspense, adds a few twists and a newly found love. She does a great job developing her characters and paints her scenes in vivid detail. Great start to a new series.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Really 2.5 stars. The characters had no personality. The H was weak and definitely not a mafia boss. The h was immature. Plus, it appears the author was confused on her timeline. She had a good storyline but didn't know what to do with it. Plus, the book just ends. Not a good read.
I really enjoyed Grace and Nathan's story. It was kinda sort of insta-love. Nathan killed the man Grace was marrying during the wedding, accidentally shoots her dad, then kidnaps her! And it keeps getting better...
I don't know how I feel about this book. I definitely didn't like the ending that wasn't really an ending at all. Nathan seems like a coward for running with Grace and Hannah rather than letting Vince's people know what the real deal is.
This was definitely not your average love story. This is hardcore Mafia love. The men are wickedly good and dangerous. And the females are shy and lowkey in public, but strong Divas at heart.
I couldn't connect with the characters and I questioned the mental stability of most of them. I received a free copy and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
