Coming Back to Cornwall #3

As Boundless as the Sea

Rate this book
Two years into her new life in Cornwall, and while Alice Griffiths’ own romantic hopes have been dashed, it appears that whichever way she looks, her friends are getting hitched.

A handsome stranger at Bea’s wedding could well change Alice’s fortunes but she may be better off ploughing her energies into her working life.

While each season brings a new wedding, the months leading up to Christmas, and David and Martin's big day, become about taking risks for Alice. Should she leave the safety of the Sail Loft Hotel? Is starting a business the best idea she and Julie have ever had, or the end of a beautiful friendship? And should she push Sam Branvall out of her mind for good and take a chance on handsome, successful Paul Winters?

From upsetting her manager at the Sail Loft, to Sam moving back to town; not to mention a phone call announcing her mother has been taken seriously ill, it’s going to take a cool head to navigate successfully through this year. Luckily, Alice has her friends to support her. Even if they are all getting married.

If she can just keep her cool, and keep her friends, then she should make it safely through to those cold winter nights and twinkling Christmas lights.

A Second Chance Summer (Book One) and After the Sun (Book Two) complete the Coming Back to Cornwall series although readers are asking if there might be another volume so you will just have to watch this space...

Book three didn't fail to be as entertaining and unputdownable as the first two. Thoroughly enjoyed it... and yes, it made up for my sadness at the ending in book two.

As Boundless as the Sea.

After reading the first book I couldn't wait to continue to read book two then book three. It was easy as a reader to feel involved with all the characters. Although the final outcome was inevitable the journey to that point was exceptional.

Julie and Alice have lived in Cornwall for 2 years now and loving every minute of it. Sam has been out of town and Alice has found a new friend in Paul. Although she can't get Sam out of her mind.
Julie and Alice start a new business which seems to be flourishing. All goes well until Sam comes back in town. Will Alice stay with Paul or return to Sam? This is quite a dilemma for her.
This story remains so ineresting I can't wait for the next book,

These books (trilogy) are addictive and having spent many years in St Ives in Cornwall. I was so immersed in the characters that it was hard to leave them behind at the end of Book 3!
