Catapult: The Kingston Chronicles Book 1 by J C Benthin is outstanding. Catapult is well written and very exciting. This is one of the best thrillers that I have ever read. Kingston is the younger brother whose father always preferred Jude, the oldest brother. When two men try to steel from the Port Authorities, Kingston stops them quickly . This catches the eye of Sam Waters, Billionaire, and owner of Platinum Security Group. Catapult lays a strong foundation for the characters with out being slow or tedious. The action is fast and I could hardly put the book down. I thought that the ending was a surprise but very believable. I can’t wait to read book 2 and see what Kingston does next! I received an arc for free and am leaving my review voluntarily.

Kingston, oh man.

He gets himself into some hot water situations with the specialized team he has been brought into last minute.

Fun and exciting escapades, new stealth-tech, wealthy and well-known people what could happen...

A great YAF book for yourself this summer and to read with your middle schooler.

Cannot wait for Slingshot and the third book in The Kingston Chronicles!!!

I loved reading this book, it was filled with thrills and suspense, it reminded me a lot of the Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz, one of my favorites growing up, and I look forward to reading the next ones that come out.
