Morgan Freeman, a girl from South Africa, not the American actor, has had it rough. She just wants a bit of normalcy, her brother, and just maybe she can rid herself of the "virginity curse". After her mother's death and her brother's disappearance, she is able to make it back to the cruise ships, to work. She enjoyed it once. She even had a few friends that she became close with from her last cruise job. Now, its like starting over and the guy she's partnered with, Jason Chase, seems nice enoug ...more

When her mother was terminally ill, Morgan Freeman, a young South African woman, returned home to care for her. Recommends it for: anyone who enjoys suspense romance
I finished reading book one of the series and was so wrapped up in it I HAD to read book two which I did in one afternoon, and a great afternoon it was. I particularly liked the fact that it partly takes place on a cruise ship which was pretty cool to me since my reading spot is behind my house over looking the pacific ocean in Hawaii. I was able to envision Jason on the ship right out iin my view. I find in many series that the first book of the a series grabs my attention but the second one is ...more

I loved Jason’s and Morgan’s story, Jason is a Varcolac he never thought that he had a mate but when a human girl is always in his dreams he knows that she is the one. When Morgan’s mother passes away she goes to the one place where it had always felt like home and that’s on the cruise ships to work. Morgan is partnered with Jason aka Jerico he is absolutely gorgeous bet he has secrets and when Morgan finds them out she is pulled into a world that she never knew existed. Fantastic story I loved ...more

Excellent Read!
“Mine Immortal” is a well-written fast-paced paranormal tale that had me hooked in the first chapter. This is more than just a vampire tale, “Mine Immortal” is a tale of magic and super-naturals. The storyline is intriguing and unique, the scenes are vivid and authentic, and the characters are extraordinary, funny and real. This was an excellent paranormal read.

The third book in the series continues the focus on Jason and Morgan. There is a lot going on with questions about Morgan’s nature since she is not human and a vampire coven targeting Morgan, Jason and his pack. Morgan is also struggling with trusting Jason after she overheard that he may only want her for her powers.

I really enjoyed this book. It had twists I don't see coming and the cliffhanger was GREAT! However I just couldn't give it 4 stars because of the lack of editing. While words were spelt correctly they were just wrong. One example is "you don't belief me". There was a mistake like this on every other page. If this sort of thing doesn't bother you, you will love this book. If it does I suggest you give this book a miss.

Fast paced book with a good story line. Morgan and Jason are well written characters. Waiting three thousand years for his mate to appear is not what Jason was expecting. Can a human and a Varcolac make it work? Read and find out.
