I asked for his criteria for bed buddies-that's the PG version.

He swore at me and said he didn't do groupies. And just like that, our friendship was off to a great start.

Reese Forster was the starting point guard for the Seattle Thunder.

Gorgeous. Cocky. Loved by the nation.

He's also attending preseason basketball training camp where I used to work.

I wasn’t ready for this book. Honestly, I had no idea what kind of emotional, thoughtful and poignant story was hidden behind this gorgeous cover. For me, as a reader that has been reading Tijan books since 2014, I feel this book was her best yet. It was thought provoking, deeply emotional and incredibly touching.

But I must admit that during the first 20% of the book, I wasn’t sure what to think.

On the surface this book sounded like a sports rom-com, with an adorably dorky heroine and a typical

Teardrop Shot is a quirky emotional romance that at the end of the day, you will find yourself wanting to hug some these characters. They went through a lot and I liked that through the heavy moments, we were rewarded with some much needed humor.

Charlie has been through a lot the past few years in her personal life. She’s sacrificed more than anyone could have imagined and to this day, she still feels a certain kind of pain whenever she thinks about the “what ifs”. After a bad breakup and bei

Ekkkkk Thank you!! Crazy love this author!!

I am definitely a Tijan fan and so, of course, I want to read every book she releases...I did not, however, expect to love this book so much, that from now on, Mason will have to share his number one spot. I absolutely adored Charlie and Reese !!!

I have never read a book by this author but how does one not read a book with this blurb snippet: Reese is in the NBA. She's a little psycho. ????

All the stars!!! I LOVED this book. I don’t say this next part lightly...this is my FAVORITE Tijan book!! Total perfection. Loved every second.

Being an uber Tijan fan = easy. I've loved all of her books and always connect with her characters BUT this one. This one is on another level for me. I found myself at 11% completely ensnared by the characters, story and raw emotions, whether they were happy or heartbreaking. The beauty in these complex people had me swooning, cheering and absolutely hea

*I received this ARC for an honest review*

I have loved almost every book by Tijan that I have picked up. This author is one of my favorites in the New Adult Romance genre. And this one was a no surprise 5 star read for me!

When I saw that Tijan was releasing a Standalone Sports Romance I knew I was going to need to immediately pick it up.

I didn’t know too much going in other than:
“I'm adorably psychotic. He's in the NBA.
This is not a disaster waiting to happen, at all.”

The characters are amazing. So many layers.
    I laughed .I cried. I swooned.
I hurt for and with them.
Tijan is so poignant with her words.

I love the way Tijan writes. It's an easy and compeling text, you just flow through the pages. I was really missing some sports romance book, so when I read the blurb of TEARDROP SHOP that was it!!! I had to read it. But, I thought the begining of the book was kinda confuse and it actually only got me hooked after 35%. That's when I saw more of Reese and Charlie connection.

Charlie was funny but I hated it when she did comparisons. It felt wrong and I don't know how Re

I have been obsessed with Tijan since her Fallen Crest series from day one and seriously will read anything that she writes. Her stories are compelling and addicting and I can not get enough. Reese and Charlie were so well matched. The banter in this story was so well written and it coupled well with the serious aspects of the story.

When Charlie meets her idol, basketball star Reese Forster, she has no idea that her life will be irrevocably changed. Without giving away any spoilers, I liked thi

Tijan has done it again with her newest romance! Teardrop Shot is everything you want in a romance. Humor, lust, sports, awkwardness, angst, friendship, and sexy characters. Tijan has a way of surprising me every single time. I know when I pick up one of her books I'm going to be entertained. But the emotions always catch me off guard. Her writing is getting better. Her characters deeper and her stories more meaningful. Charlie is a huge basketball fan. She's also quirky and a little crazy. Her ...more

I'm not even sure how I feel about this book...That's not true. I feel too many things. I feel happy. I feel devastated. I feel overwhelmed.

Tijan throws a lot at the reader in Teardrop Shot. It's intense and heartbreaking. Nothing can prepare you for the direction this is going. You can only hold on to the handle bars and hug yourself tight; believing in hope the whole time. Because unlike a floating Teardrop Shot, this book will not be a graceful arc and perfectly placed fall into the net for t

Tijan is one of my favourite authors I never read the synopsis because I'm always confident I'm her storytelling. I didn't know much except it was a standalone sports romance so I thought I knew what to expect. How wrong I was.

Reese and Charlie's story touched me in ways I can't even describe. The author captured the emotion of the story perfectly. The characters will make you laugh, cry and fall in love. My advice would be to go in blind because just when you think you know where the story is

I told myself I was only going to read one more chapter. It’s now almost 1AM. What can I say? I absolutely loved this book!!

Charlie is hilarious and super random! She reminds me a lot of one of my bookish friends and some of our conversations. Her random questions were the absolute best!
The poor girl over comes dimes GIANT obstacles and you just want to give her a giant hug. She has an amazing support system and a great group of friends.

I need to preface this review by stating this didn't even feel like Tijan to me, which isn't meant in a positive or negative way. Teardrop Shot just felt different than the angsty vibe I've come to expect from Tijan, but that doesn't mean it won't top my favorite list of 2019. Unexpected. Emotionally deep. The saddest yet also one of the most hilarious novels I've ever read.

This author has done it again! Tijan has this way of carefully crafting a story that is both unique and entertaining with complex characters that will put you through all of the feels. The blurb of this book does not do it justice. For me, Teardrop Shot started off feeling a bit lighter than some of her other books in that there was a bit of comedic flair as the heroine, Charlie would spout off random, humorous questions when stressed, nervous or excited however as the story developed, it turned ...more

This book was another slam dunk by Tijan! Tijan’s books always make me have all the feels. I laughed, I cried, it made me think but most of all it made me feel so many emotions. When I first seen the blurb for this book I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Would it be more romcom or sports romance? I can honestly tell you that whatever you were expecting, it is so so much more. Her books just hit me right in the feels, I’m always blown away by where the story takes me.

Teardrop Shot is Tijan's 2nd full length release this year and she has at least one more to come before the year ends. If you're familiar with her work, you'll know she takes time and builds the story slowly but does it in a way that captures your attention from the very beginning and immerses you in the characters and world she has created. This book is no different and showcases the calibre of her talent brilliantly.

Tijan writes beautiful stories with big feelings and big moments where we witness the character slowly grow through little life moments and it's so glorious to read. I don't know how she does it, but her characters crawl into my soul and set up a permanent camp where I remember them long after I've finished reading them.

Charlie lost herself in a relationship years ago. She has recently resurfaced and thankfully her old friends won't let her disappear again, even though every instinct inside her

Tijan, oh Tijan. What have you done to me?

I'll be 100% honest and say that when I started this book, it didn't feel like a Tijan novel. The female main character, Charlie, was unlike anything she's ever written. I was so worried that I wouldn't like this read based on the quirky and sarcastic nature of Charlie's personality. But as the story progressed, I became more in love with the different approach Tijan took with this read. I became completely enthralled with the characters' unique qualitie

With every new Tijan book that is being released my level of excitement goes up a notch and with this Sports Romance it's no different. You think you know how this book is going to be but I can tell you it's nothing like you're probably expecting. Reese and Charlie's story will blow you out of the water, everything they have had to go through before they ever met will tear at your emotions. Can two broken souls come together as one?

Teardrop Shot by Tijan is a slow burn sports romance standalone filled with so much humor, love, lust & loss. Tijan continues to write novels that are set so far apart from the norm, with surprises you'll never see coming. This novel is one of those books that sneaks up on you. You're distracted by the setting, the scenes and the idea of your normal romantic comedy, that when it hits you, it completely consumes you.

Flipping heck! I am an emotional wreck! What a truly wonderful story, it was funny, it was romantic, it was so so emotional (for me especially, dementia is a disease I’ve had first hand dealings with). Okay, no more emotional talk, let’s talk basketball, I know nothing about it, but I’m going to make it my mission to watch a game and find out more, especially if there are some real life players like Reese or Juan, because let me tell you, those guys leave all the rest in the dust, they’re perfec ...more

I am sure when an author writes a book, they aren't always aware of the effect it can have on a reader. This truly is one of those books, that you never see coming but gives you everything including a flood of thoughts and emotions you didn't even realise you had hidden so deep inside you. It takes a special author to give you that special reader connection to the characters and this book and this author do it in spades!!

Teardrop Shot has got to be Tijan’s best work to date. And yes, I dare say it is better than my all-time favorite of hers, the Fallen Crest series.

It is hard to let that go, but this book shows this author’s growth as a writer and showcases her spectacular writing talent.
