I hope with all my heart that this book proves to be helpful and useful. I wrote this with the hope that it would be useful for moms who, like me when I was contemplating weaning my older son, want to read another mom's step-by-step account of weaning. And that's what this work is -- a detailed play by play of what worked for us, with ideas on how to adapt it for your own family and for determining if you even are, in fact, ready to wean.
