Nice book to read, especially the sections of perception and emotional intelligence.
The book is 232 pages, but can be easily written in 120 pages preserving the same content. Too much repetitive ideas.
Recommended, as basic knowledge about body language, manipulation, perception and emotional intelligence but not enough.

Self help is always appreciated!

Typically, self help style books are filled with high speed thoughts and mannerisms that will bring you all of life's fortunes and lots of money.
"Spoiler" this is not one like that. Coopers discussion of the emotional intelligence combined with body language and the need to understand your team/friend/enemy (outrageous comparison but stands out) is genuine and pivital. No back alley promises here except that the more you try, the better at communicating, as a whole, gets better.

Must read for anyone entering high interpersonal professions.

Very concise information on improving emotional intelligence. Each book provided great topical transitions and tied together the importance of understanding how the use of verbal and body language recognition are essential to improving emotional intelligence.

Very interesting and easy to understand. I’ve been using/practicing the techniques and must admit I’ve become more self aware. I highly recommend this book. I dove in with no expectations and didn’t really know what I thought I’d learn, if anything at all. So for me, it was an opener and appreciative of the author’s writings.

Great starter

These book has been wonderful to learn much about body languages and emotional intelligence. As a day dreamer, I tend to lose that connection when speaking with other. Now with these helpful tip, I will put into practice.
