A deep dive into the psychology of relationships. It was a please to read the book as I got a lot of insights about the way I choose my partners and how this process changed with time and experience. I highly recommend reading it if you want to get to know yourself better.

A great book, although the title is rather confusing. Not a self-help book, as it may seem, nor a book about relationships: it's more a guide to help women and men have a better understanding of themselves and their choices, their behavior in a relationship.
It gives no recipe, no quick fix, but works rather like an eye-opener. To be read whether you're single, in a relationship, separated or in any other, more complicated situation. ...more

کتابی که هر کسی حتی یکبار باید بخواند.
This book goes so deep it is hard to read sometimes. It discusses relationships in very good and honest way. It's nothing like the self-help books you probably heard of or read. By showing the truth with the very unpleasant parts it becomes the best book about relationships. I can't recommend it enough.

Hard to read at times. A firm believer in jungian vernacular. When the subconsciousness is described as factual behavior it is sometimes a bit too much to Take in. Hard work for sure. Deep, thought provoking, truth pushing nevertheless. Insight to be fetched there. If you are up for it?

Le titre de ce livre ne reflète pas son contenu (et c'est tant mieux) : il ne présente pas une vision pessimiste de l'amour mais donne beaucoup d'informations très intéressantes, avec douceur, élégance et bienveillance, sur l'incidence des liens parents-enfants, et en particulier mère-fils, sur nos relations amoureuses. Un vrai coup de cœur, qui me donne envie de lire d'autres ouvrages du même auteur.

Tres interessant mais pas tres facile a lire. Riche en plein d'idees et conceptes en psychologie surtout en ce qui concernent la presence des parents pour une vraie famille, relation pere-fille et mere-fils. Le role du pere surtout.
