Fun fact... The Saugatuck Michigan chain ferry is Believe to be the only operational hand cranked chain ferry in the United States! This book is the fifth book in a series (of currently 8) written by Saugatuck resident G. Corwin Stoppel. Set in the 1920s, it's kind of an old-timey detective mystery. The series is set in the very real and quaint town of Saugatuck Michigan and features likable characters (my personal favorite is Beatrix!). The story is easy to read, I would say it's a mild brain teaser, features period phrases and language , and is just a fun place to visit both in the story & the town in real life.

Quick read. A brain cleanser, if you will. Lived the characters and the setting.
