Rutilius Taurus Aemilianus Palladius, also known as Palladius Rutilius Taurus Aemilianus or most often just as Palladius, was a Roman writer, dated variously to the latter 4th century or first half of the 5th century AD. He is principally known for his book on agriculture, Opus agriculturae, sometimes known as De re rustica.
Interesting text, but bad poetry, bad scribe, and a terrible editor. There are eight pages of corrections at the end of volume 2 and the corrigenda are sometimes difficult, if not impossible, to apply correctly because the erroneous reading is rarely given, only the correction. Some of the corrigenda are themselves in error, or point to the wrong line number. Even after I'd corrected the text, I was still seeing obvious editorial or typographic errors as I read it through.
