I've Got You Babe is a sweet romance story. The characters are charming and entertaining. The plot is engaging but predictable. I think I've read too many similar stories lately, and that hindered my enjoyment of this one. This story will make you smile, and it has heart warming and heart breaking moments. It's always interesting to see how the author puts the puzzle together. Fast and light, yet meaningful, I believe romance readers will delight in this story. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in ...more

A quote (from ARC):
“If a person had to be stranded, Misty Bottoms, Georgia, was one heck of a place for it. The small town oozed Southern charm and its people were beyond warm and welcoming. The man beside her? Although she wouldn’t always call him warm, he ranked high up there at the top of the hot chart.”

A sweet story involving a troubled former Marine and a single mom with a precious little girl in a typical small-town setting,

We have a story or two people people who were not expecting each other but who truly needed each other especially now. They were dealing with painful pasts and getting over some demons and thankfully getting to know each other and being exactly what they never expected. It is a book with a whole bunch of feels, and you will and will be so happy that these 2 will be given a second chance and become a real family.. Enjoy!

Tucker Wylder isn't returning to Misty Bottoms as the man he use to be, that man is now replaced with a man that is swimming in regret and excruciating pain. He's hoping he can just bury himself in work at the garage, and the demon's he is carrying will just slip away. Solitude is what he craves, he just wants to have to worry about himself, and nothing else, no other complications.

But that becomes easier said then done when a beautiful stranger and her three year old daughter come crashing into

I’ve Got You, Babe is a contemporary small town romance. Elisa, a single mom who is down on her luck, literally falls at Tucker’s feet. Tucker, a former Marine suffering from PTSD, catches her and can’t seem let her go. Add in a precious toddler named Daisy and the cutest town Misty Bottoms and you can’t help falling in love with this book.
The road for Tucker and Elisa isn’t smooth. They both have big issues to overcome-physically, mentally and spiritually. But the spark is there and neither ca

I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

I want to start this review by saying that I did not read book one in the series, but never felt that I was missing anything.

Tucker and his brothers run a very successful business restoring cars and bikes. They absolutely love what they do and despite the business side of things, they love working with each other. When Tucker is at work, he me

This was a sweet and heartwarming tale. Of two lost souls. One haunted over lost friends, another by a disastrous marriage. By divine fate, Tucker Wylder and Elisa Danvers’s world will never be the same.

I didn’t know what to expect when I received a copy of, I’ve Got You, Babe, the 2nd installment in the Must Love Babies series, written by Lynnette Austin and published by Sourcebooks Casablanca. I expect this story will hit the right buttons with any reader who enjoys Contemporaries or just a fe

What makes this novel is three-year old Daisy Elizabeth Danvers. She and her mother end up in this small Georgia town when their car breaks down and her mother, Elisa, faints from low blood-sugar in front of Tucker, one of the hunky Wylder Brothers who restore cars. Tucker, a retired Marine, isn’t interested in having a relationship, much less with one that involves a little girl, but his essential goodness has him helping Elisa out while falling for her and her adorable little girl.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

This is a cute small town romance. Tucker Wylder owns a successful vintage car restoration company with his brothers in Misty Bottoms Georgia. He is dealing with survivor’s guilt from his stint in the Marines where his four best friends died. He likes his ordered life and is keeping everyone at arms length. Elisa Danvers walks into his shop, passes out and completely upends his orderly life. Since Elisa’s toddler daughter, Daisy,

**My thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is the second book I have read by this author, the second book in the series, and I am not disappointed.

We get to see a little of the previous book couple Brant and Molly, however we do get to see more characters involved which is nice. Desdi is certainly quite a character and you cannot help but love her.

Tucker is former military and has not yet gotten over the death of his friends

The story of Tucker Wylder and Elisa Danvers is one that will touch your hearts.
Tucker, a former Marine, owns, with his brothers, a car and motorcycle restoration garage. He’s come back from the war a changed man. One that has isolated himself from everyone and is full of survivor’s guilt. Elisa, single mom to adorable Daisy, is down on her luck. When her car breaks down in front of the garage and ends up fainting in front of Tucker, they didn’t realize that their lives would change forever.

I enjoyed this damsel-in-distress and hero-who-needs-fixin' sweet story. I loved everything in how they met, how Tucker's world got tangled up-side-down with the two girls arrival and how quickly the pieces of their puzzle started falling into place. Tucker had some fun quirks and some heavy burdens weighing him down. My heart melted watching him work through his struggles. Elisa carried her own secrets and heavy burdens and found a refuge both with Tucker and in Misty Bottoms while she worked t ...more

Small town romances are so good. Misty Bottoms sounds like an idyllic place to live and raise children. This was emotional with both characters having a lot of baggage, but they survive beautifully, after some soul searching, some rocky parts and letting go of pasts that cannot be changed. Loved Tucker, demons, OCD and all lol, how he made it thru changes and fell in love with Daisy and her beautiful and courageous Mommy, Elisa. Mostly, a feel good romance with a bit of a scare when Daisy has to ...more

Fair warning...Daisy will steal your heart!

I loved reading this story between Tucker and Elissa. Both were down, vulnerable, and kinda feeling alone. However, they sparked something in each other. I loved how quickly Tucker bonded with Daisy - major swooning. Throw in serious heat between Elissa and Tucker, along with absolutely cute endearments from him, and you lose your heart with a smile on your face. Elissa is not so bad herself. She is a survivor through all life has thrown at her and will

I’ve got you babe is a romance between an ex marine struggling to survive in his own head and a down on her luck single mother who is trying to find a place for her and her daughter.

Tucker is at the shop alone when Elisa faints at his feet and not only is he left with a down and out woman but a squirmy upset 3 year old. His perfectly ordered life with be shot to heck when they enter his domain.

This is a cute romance about second chances and it was good to see the other characters from book 1.

If you are looking for a quiet evening full of small town friendly, kind, nosy, stubborn, but nevertheless always ready to help characters , then this book is for you. The book focuses on a single mother with a cute kid and a man not interested in any kind of attachments or long term relationships. The book shows that sometimes small town life and people who really care are actually what you need in order to see your life in a new perspective.
Thank to the author and NetGalley for a review copy.

What a feel good story. When a former marine gets invaded by a sick mom and her darling daughter, Tucker feels at a loss how to deal with it. He is a stickler for a spotless house, which doesn't happen with a 3 year old. They slowly worm their way into his heart and life. There are a few large bumps in the road but love does prevail. This is very much a feel good story. The three brothers that work together help each other at work and emotionally. They have each other backs at all time. Well wri ...more

Delightful! For me, a big improvement over "Must Love Babies."

Tuck and Elisa are both damaged and determined. Both are stubborn. . .to a fault! Overall, I enjoyed their banter throughout the book. Their brokenness led to their togetherness. Add in the adorable Daisy, and it's a feel-good story for everyone!

Nice to catch up with Brant and Molly. Looking forward to seeing what happens with Gaven!

This is the first book that I have read by Lynnette Austin and it will not be the last! You will want to devour and savor this book all at the same time! Tucker needed both Elisa and Daisy just as they needed him. It was fun reading how tough Tucker fell for the mother and daughter duo.

Down on her luck, Elisa literally lands into Tucker’s arms. One thing leads to another and she and her daughter, Daisy, are staying with him at his house. They make his house a home.
Overall, I did enjoy this one, but several parts were a bit slow for me. Or maybe they were dragged out too much. I’m not sure.
Would I read it again??? No.
It was a sweet story though.

He has PTSD and probably OCD.

Surely there's a doctor?

The baby's sick as well? That's horrible.

Such a cute kid.

Oh, boy. What are the chances...

That is a cute truck.

Be careful what you wish for.

That's a good idea. Now if only she could tell him about her dad.

This wedding took a lot of planning!
