Y’all know I don’t usually read smut sexy time books. But I was innocently scrolling the library audio and saw this hot dude and thought what the hell. Omg! The Scottish narrator had me in stitches!! It was funny, corny, sweet, smackable and I’ve never heard more talk of boobas in my life!

So... yeah, I loved it 🤣😂

I love this series! I have a huge weakness for Lyndsay Sands historical romances! They are filled with adventure, family, romance, humour, and of course sexy times!! This book in particular was filled with a lot of sex! It seemed between Dwyn and Geordie they were horndogs!! Lol! I loved their chemistry! I found that Dwyn’s breasts had a life of their own!!!😆 It was hilarious and added even more humour to the whole story!

I don’t have a ton of time for a large review, but I will say this series i

Hunting For A Highlander is the most recent installment in her "Highland Brides" series which is number eight in the series ---highly impressive in how she has built this family and this whole series. I have had a blast with many of these books and I was delighted to read Geordie's book. Just some

3.5 stars -- This was a good entry in a series I am a sucker for! Dwynn was one of the better/more memorable heroines to date (whose bosoms apparently are magically enticing to all Buchanan men), and I liked that the story progressed differently than the last couple have while maintaining the same key elements that I've come to expect. A nice variant on an enjoyable formula ...more

This is my first Lynsay Sands book and I really wanted to love it. I know she's very well beloved by many but this was definitely not for me. There were sone sweet times between the couple, but it was just so silly and surface level. Lots of sexy times, some attempts at comedic relief which did have me chuckling a few times but mostly were just really ridiculous.

I think if you want something super low angst, steamy, and a bit silly this could be fun. But it's not what I love to read at all.

I had such fun reading this book! It was witty and steamy and the characters were a delight. Yes, some serious things happened, but the humor made it all tolerable. Picture a castle full of randy males with Dolly Parton in their midst. This book is much, much steamier than the other books in the series – some of it was gratuitous, but that was okay with me. This is classic Lynsay Sands and I thoroughly enjoye

I liked Hunting for a Highlander for the most part. It was sexy and I’m a sucker for a romance where the woman most people would overlook gets the guy. While it wasn't perfect, it had some good moments.

I liked Dwyn and Geordie together. While they had chemistry we got scenes of them getting to know each other and really form feelings for each other. I have to admit that once they started getting physical it felt like it A LOT. I know the author said that this book would be sexier than the othe

Lady Dwyn Innes goes to the Buchanan Keep with her sisters and father when there is an opportunity for girls to marry one of the three remaining Buchanan brothers, but she don't think she has enough chances to captivate one of them, she sees herself as being plain and not slender enough and not beautiful like the other lasses. She is prepared to become a old maid when one day she encounters Geordie Buchanan in the orchard and both become instantly smitten with each other.
Later he asks for her
4 Stars!! 💕❤️ Loved it despite the similar storyline.. damsel-in-distress rescued by the handsome Highlander who eventually falls for her.. hot steamy chemistry.. more trouble for damsel and the highlander from an unknown enemy.. a little angst before everyone is rescued and saved.. and finally a sweet HEA.. 😍💞 Highly recommended to all fans of Lynsay Sands!! 👍👍
Dwyn Innes is the oldest of three sisters. She came, along with her sisters and father to the Buchanan Keep in hopes of catching eye of one of the remaining three unmarried Buchanan brothers. Dwyn is remarkable of heart but on looks she tends to shy away from pampering prefering to read books. Eldest amongst three sisters, she still has to get engaged while her younger sisters are already engaged. To catch eye of one of the remaining brothers her sisters force her to dress in too smaller size th ...more

Let me just start this by saying I should have known how steamy this book was from its cover! I usually ignore this as books with some steamy times generally have half-naked men on the cover and they’re only moderately steamy. This book was definitely an exception to the rule. Not always in a bad way but occasionally it was like WOW. That’s some stamina right there, haha! So besides from that…

I gobbled this book up. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters Geordie and Dwyn. They felt real, pulling on the reader's emotions and pointing toward the characters' motivations. The plot and subplots were simple. I guessed who the villain was, but not his helper until I was in the last three chapters. I liked the sense of family and the loyalty they have for each other. The beginning of the story reminded me of Cinderella, where all the maidens gather for the prince to chose one of them for a brid ...more

Hunting for a Highlander by Lynsay Sands is book 8 in the Highland Brides Series. This is the story of Dwyn Innes and Geordie Buchanan. I have read (and Loved!!) the other books in this series which of course added to my enjoyment of this one. But I did feel you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Dwyn, her sisters and some other ladies have been invited to the Buchanan house to try to win other the remaining Buchanan family members that are single. Dwyn doesn't feel that she ...more

Those of you who follow me know that I just love Sands' historicals. She's one of the only writers I still read in historicals.

She writes about wonderful characters that you really want to get to know. They are the type of people you'd like to know yourself. She also adds enough humor and mystery into her books to keep you coming back again.

Up this time we are now closing in of the last of the Buchanan brothers. A

I love this series. I loved this couple. I especially loved the heroine. She was so adorable and awkward. My favorite ❤️
Fun book. With four of the seven Buchanan brothers married off, their sister and sister-in-law feel that it's time Geordie, Rory, and Alick, also settle down. To aid in this endeavor, they invite a selection of unmarried women to visit, hoping to tempt the men into matrimony.

Geordie was away for several months, helping various members of his family settle into their new homes. He returned late one night to discover his home stuffed with people, so he slept in the orchard. He awoke the next morni

Breasts. Large breasts, globular breasts, peach-colored nipples, breasts bouncing, and breasts that are spilling out all over the place. Yes, this book is heavy on the ample bosom of Dwyn, our female protagonist. Think Dolly Parton in a kilt!

This book also follows the plot devices that all of Ms. Sands's books use in this series. That makes this a very comfortable read if a little boring.

The mystery was a good one because I couldn't figure out who was doing it. I did not go with the most obviou
I’ve read several of the books in this series and I will always continue because this family is so much fun.

I really liked Dwyn and Geordie. She’s stronger than she thinks and always speaks her mind. He’s loyal and protective. Together there’s loads of chemistry and non-stop commentary from his brothers.

Plot wise, it was okay. The scenes went in a circle of sexy times to attempted murder to beatings and threats of rape. Literally, that was the entire story. Oh, and constant mentions of Dwyn’s

Dwyn Innes was invited to Buchanan Castle to meet the remaining unwed Buchanan brothers and possibly make a match. She meets Geordie Buchanan by accident when she climbs a tree to escape the taunts of the other “Brides”. Dwyn is no beauty, but she knows she is not ugly and her bosom certainly entices men, however, she knows she can’t compare to the other lovely ladies at the castle, so she is surprised when the handsome man joins her in the tree and even more surprised when he steals a kiss.

It started in a tree. Yes, Dwyn had escaped to get away from the taunting ladies all vying for the hand of the last three Buchanan brothers that were unmarried. She knew she would not have a chance because she was not beautiful and slender like all the other ladies. So she went to the orchard and climbed a tree. Little did she know that Geordie Buchanan had been asleep under a nearby tree and saw her. He decided to climb up after her and help her down. Oh my, and it ended with a kiss. Of course ...more

This book reads like a bad mystery

This book is ridiculous, and not in a good way. I really don't know what to say about this.

I like Sands, but not this. It read as a stinted storyline of a series of events that were only linked together at the very end, punctuated by steamy scenes. Most of those scenes I skipped. I didn't care.

Geordie read like a teenage boy obsessed with boobs. It was all he talked about. While his wife was escaping her kidnapper, he recognized her by her chest. HE.WAS.RIDICUL

Another good one in this series.
I liked how the characters from the previous books made appearances in this story. It’s always nice to revisit w/characters that you’ve become endeared to from previous reading.
Dwyn is extremely charming. Geordie is engaging. Good chemistry b/w them.
Cute humor. Good sexual tension build-up.
I did figure out "the inside man" early on though.
When conflict arose, I did get a little misty w/how Geordie's family & friends rallied around him for suppo

Lady Dwyn Innes visits the Buchanan Keep with her sisters and father for an opportunity to wed one of the three remaining Buchanan brothers. She doesn’t have the highest hopes of snagging one; she’s described as plain and has a larger build, but she has a fantastic rack, and thankfully Geordie Buchanan is a boob man. I’ll be honest, I love crazy OW drama, and I thought this book would be full of it…several women competing over three men…let the catfights begins. N
