Thirty-three-year-old music therapist, Kate Randolph, is at the top of her professional game. Her life is happily on track, until she receives a phone call announcing the death of the man who abounded her when she was eight-years-old. Kate has no interest in going to her father’s funeral, but soon realizes she must confront the past to move forward.
While in Oregon, Kate discovers why her scientist/father disappeared, and what she learns will set her on a path that will change her life forever.
With her father’s good friend, Jake, she uncovers conspiracies beyond imagination. She learns of secret societies, cover-ups, and that the planet is in jeopardy from both terrestrial and extraterrestrial threats.
With the aid of a mysterious stranger, Kate must help save the world. Can she stay alive long enough to succeed?
This Book is written in a very conversational style; in the first person. It begins with a thirty-three-year-old woman (Kate) who has made a good life for herself but remains absorbed by memories of the father that disappeared when she was eight. One night while watching a movie with her sister, who is also her best friend, she receives a call from a man who tells her that her father has just passed away, the date of the funeral, and she has been named the executor of his estate. While deciding whether she will go to Oregon to the funeral her thoughts are flooded by memories of her perfect father. After arriving in Oregon we are treated to more memories and to some eye candy when her father's friend introduces himself. From this point in the book, Kate's life will never be the same; her memories, beliefs, and relationships.
My thoughts on this book: what begins as a believable storyline slowly becomes an imaginary tale of corrupt government, secret societies, super weapons, and aliens. Towards the end of the book, I felt as if I were reading someone's diary. Little snippets of a person's thoughts and actions. Similar to what a young girl would write about a prom, first date, first experience, etc. Only these writings are on much greater issues like world and extraterrestrial domination.

“See No More” sets a break-neck pace, with sharp, witty prose, a humorous heroine, a sexy leading man, and more plot twists than a Christopher Nolan movie.
This book started out pretty well but I ended up feeling like too many story elements were crammed in, leaving me feeling jerked around just for the sake of drama. I also didn't ever have a real feel for the characters. I really did want to like this but felt disappointed in the end.
Not that the story was fast-paced and wildly entertaining - having read other books by Whitney Dineen before, I totally expected that - but I certainly did not expect it to go *there*. o.O (I'll leave it at that, because... spoilers...)
Will I read more thrillers by her? Well, duh! Of course I will. :)
Kate's dad left when she was 8 leaving her with an emptiness difficult to fill. As an adult she has a job that she loves and everything it's going fine until Jake Sorenson calls with news about her dad that turns her life upside down. Now nothing is as it seems and she is suddenly running for her life. I am not going to say more. You will have to read the book, but I loved it and can hardly wait for the sequel!
See no more is full of mystery, conspiracy theories, and craziness that I cannot wrap my head around. Some of the things that happened in this story hit a little to close to home for me at this moment in our lives as Americans. Which only makes me shake my head. Overall it's ok, but I miss Whitney's humor.
This is my first time reading this author, the blurb sounded interesting and I’m pleased that I chose to take a chance and read this book. This is a fast-paced multi layered thriller that is a definite page-turner. The story is jam packed with mystery, twists and turns, deceit, secrets, action, suspense and intrigue that I was completely engaged in this story from beginning to end. Wonderfully written.
See No More-PG/PG13 Violence: intimated, no details Language: fewer than 45 Sex: yes, fade to black I just cannot stop thinking about this book! The heroine reminds me of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum, except Kate is smarter and more interesting and this book deals with conspiracy theories. (Did NOT see that coming! Way to diversify, W.D.!) While the ending was satisfying-ish, I am determined that there MUST be more to Kate and Jake's story and I'll definitely be looking for more by Whitney Dineen.
What an action packed book. From the first page you will be trusted into what is going on. There is conspiracy theories and colorful ideas that will keep you reading all day to see what is going to happen next.
I enjoyed this thriller about a woman trying to learn more about the father who left twenty-five years earlier. There is a lot of intrigue, suspense, action, and danger to be found along with some humour. I found this to be a real pageturner.

I certainly enjoyed this very fast-paced book, the first one I have read by this author.
The first half, in particular, had me on the edge of my seat, constantly! My eyes started to glaze over a little bit in the middle, the scientific explanations could have been a little simpler/fewer for me, but then it took off again for the ending. I am really hoping that there is a follow-up to this book, I would very happily read that, it seems that there are certainly some threads left untied.
I liked the fact that Kate is living an ordinary life when she gets swept up in a huge mess which has the hunky Jake as its instigator. I love the vibes between these two and I also enjoyed the family ties that Kate has to her sister and mum; it added a bit of light relief, which this book needed, here and there.
All in all, this was a great read and would love to read more by this author.
This book contains every conspiracy theory from a shadow society controlling the world to aliens living in the middle of our planet. There are special ops, mad scientists, and everyone is out to get you. The only thing missing were jet contrails trying to poison our food supply and big foot. Somehow, however, it all gets wrapped up in a tiddy little bow where the baddest of the bad guys die and all the good guys survive.
I pondered for a while after finishing the book wether to rate it 4 or 5 stars. It was well written, and I couldn't put it down, but all the conspiracy theories in the second half seemed a bit much, although when you come to think of it everything has been speculated on before. Not to bring spoilers, but also Tony's character had me questioning his motivations.
Letting go of that, I had a great time reading this and look forward to the next book.
An immensely engrossing, winning combination of "women's fiction," science fiction, romantic suspense, abandonment issues, family, conspiracy theory, and the pure drive of science and knowledge, SEE NO MORE is a don't-miss, I-can't-get-enough read. Excellently written, and I want more of these characters!
I was so stoked. I loved it. One surprise after another. Strong main character who wasn’t a weepy, screams, idiot. And then SPACE ALIENS ??? Secret societies? Why ? Why? Did you run out of plot mid book ? At least Buddy didn’t get hurt. I’m so disappointed. If you’re going to write science fiction at least warn us
This novel is filled with thrilling twists and turns, romance, sci-fi. family issues and kept me interested until the end. I really enjoyed reading this romantic sci-fi mystery thriller by W.B. Dineen.
An excellent multilayered thriller, engrossing and entertaining. It's the first book I read by this author and won't surely be the last. Highly recommended! Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
Wow! Talk about an above average thriller! I read a lot of thrillers and I can say this is torally fresh and different! Kate is such a believable character and there are so many unseen twists! 5 stars, this is an author I need to keep track of!
2 1/2 Stars: This is a book that wants to be profound and comment on the state of the world, rolled into an action adventure story. However, I didn’t think it worked. It was trying to be too many things and got mushy instead. The characters were okay but I didn’t really care about them. The writing, at times, was very stilted. It took a long time to plow through this novel.
This is Whitney's first mystery and wow what a job she did!!! This book grabs you in chapter one and keeps you reading to the end.... We were driving to our destination for vacation and read for the 3 1/2 hrs it took to get there, even with a day of shopping and Lake Superior I finished it the next day... I had to know how it ended.... Great job kiddo!!! Can't wait for the next one!!!!
Awesome! A fabulous thriller that kept me reading from the first page with heart-pounding action that was nonstop! I love the way this author writes and I have got to read more from her!

I really like the funny Whitney Dineen books. Couldn't believe that this is from the same person. I really enjoyed the beginning of the book. About a 1/3 of the way through it became too deep for me. I am not a sci-fi novel lover. The deeper I made my way into the book the more confused I became. I know others love this book. Enjoy!
The author wrote a thriller that started with a bang and just kept going! The twists kept coming, so I couldn't put it down. I cannot wait to read more from this author!
