Sometimes you’re interested. Sometimes you can’t be bothered. Sometimes love doesn’t give you a choice. In Jacob and Lilly’s case, love isn’t letting either of them go.

Jacob Edmonton has a plan for his life, but it doesn’t include love. He was Hollywood’s quintessential golden boy—until a flash-in-the-pan fling with a high-profile singer upended his world—and his reputat

I am voluntarily reviewing this ARC.

This page turner grabbed me from second one.
Lily is a nurse assigned to a difficult case. The patient happens to be the sister of an a list actor, who’s priorities have gone astray after years of pursuing his career. A bitter break up with another A list celebrity, has him of the mind set that he’ll never commit again. That was before he saw Lilly. At first, she is unaffected, but then, the chemistry is undeniable. They have

I fell in love with these characters and I can't wait for more!

M.L. Broome did such a wonderful job of creating a beautiful love story that keeps you hooked from the beginning. Jacob and Lilly couldn't be more different, yet they fit together like two puzzle pieces who have been searching for each other their whole lives. It's not an easy journey, not by a long shot, but there is no denying their deep love for one another throughout the story. The dialogue is fresh and fun and the pace is exactl

Too many feels!

This book was a lot of firsts for me! This was my first contemporary read and my first romance!

I could not have chosen a better book if I tried. There was no faffing about and inclusion of useless details that make you want to skim through an entire chapter. The romance was fun, classy and far too frustrating! The plot was well paced and the narration clear and easy to understand. I loved the character development. You really get an in-depth look into the characters and I love th

This book is AMAZING!!!! Would you imagine dating one of the hottest Hollywood actors? Or maybe you’re a Hollywood actor sick of everyone’s assumptions of you or then trying to get something from you al the time?

Jacob is the man of the hour, he just lost an important award and got laughed from everyone from being cheated by the hottest pop singer at the moment. In his hardest time, his sister had an emergency surgery an then came Lilly, everyone’s favorite nurse!

Lily is sarcastic and generous an

Jacob was the quintessential Hollywood heartthrob. Blockbuster movies, endorsement deals and adoring fans. But he really didn’t feel that way know as he was boarding a plane for London. His life wasn’t always media fodder until he met Victoria and his life unraveled. Lilly worked at the hospital that Jacob’s sister was going for surgery. She did not know that until her coworker was excited that her brother woul

Jacob is a talented actor, but in Hollywood, it's not always just about the talent, but who you know, or that one perfect role to catapult your career. And Jacob has an in for the role that would do it for him, but it comes with strings since it's his ex that has an in for him. Her price is sky high too, as she wants him to basically to everything she wants, so yeah, you already know this will cause some big drama in his life. Of course life has to get her licks in as well, since as he's on his ...more

From The Moment We Met is a story that is like kismet. Jacob and Lilly both lead complicated lives, but in very different ways. From the moment these two meet they can feel something there. It sizzles between them and anyone that is around them states how hard it is to miss. The issue, neither want to admit it right away.

Both have been hurt by previous relationships and it makes them both jaded, though Jacob more than Lilly. Sabrina, Lilly's friend, summed Jacob up perfectly calling him the kid

“Sometimes you don’t realize you have holes in your heart until someone shows up to fill them.”

M.L Broome is a new to me author. I found myself engrossed in the pages of From The Moment We Met by the second chapter. I liked the style of writing going from the hero to heroine’s perspective. The characters were varied and I found myself wanting to sit at the pub drinking whiskey with them. The author delivered a book that balanced the romance, lust, angst with humour. This is the first book that I have read from M.L Broome. This was an emotional book of ups and downs. Jacob is an actor. A great actor with quite the future ahead of him if he can land the right job that he has wanted forever. His ex Victoria has a way in for him but he has to do everything that she says. I cant stand Victoria. She is evil and a little witch. Jacob is on his way home for a little vacation when something happens to his sister. He ends up at the hospital and is blown away by his s ...more

This is an incredible story. M.L. Broome has taken the true love trope and demystified it, removing all the fluffy fairy tale and leaving us with the rawness of reality that true love might exist, but human nature, miscomunication and those "best laid plans" get in the way and obfuscate everything. Not only is the human psychology reflected admirably, but also emotion and our social hangups about love and sex. The author beautifully illustrates how although sex is a topic we engage with more tha ...more

This is book one in the A Series of Moments trilogy. Meet Jacob and Lily, two people that have never thought much about love or trying to find it and fit it into their lives. Jacob is Hollywood's golden boy, at least until he has a fling with a popular singer. His ego and reputation take a but of a hit. The hits continue to pelt him as his sister requires emergency surgery and he meets Lily. Lily is nonsense nurse but she is beautiful and she does not treat Jacob and his celebrity ego any d ...more

From the Moment We Met is the first book that I’ve read by M.L. Broome and I’m officially hooked!

This is the first part of the story of Jacob Edmonton, a famous movie actor, and Lilly Staver, a nurse.

Jacob returns home to London after his sister has emergency surgery. Lilly is the nurse who is helping look after the VIP family. The connection between Jacob and Lilly is intense but Jacob is chasing the role of a lifetime and will do whatever it takes to get it.

I was seriously tempted to give this book 4 stars because I was so mad at one of the characters by the end of the story. Then I decided that if a book can elicit such a strong emotion, whether good or bad, it is not something to lower a rating over. This book will make you feel a plethora of things, you'll be angry, happy, nervous, you'll probably swoon a few times, cringe occasionally, and possibly even want to yell "no don't do that!!" at the page more than once. I know I did. I love reading a ...more

Honestly, I ended up loving this book. It made me feel a million feelings. Victoria is ruthless, Jacob is complicated, Jacob's family is fantastic, Enrique will have you cheering for the other guy in some parts of the book, Lilly is the sweetest person ever, and her friends are the kind of friends you should want to have in life. I felt like this book described parts of my life entirely. If you're looking for a great romance story that will take you for a wild ride, then you need to purchase a c ...more

This was the first book I have read by this author and it certainly will not be my last. From the opening pages to the very last chapter I was locked into a story that was filled with laughter, romance and sensuality. Jacob and Lilly are characters you soon wont forget and they were so well written that their personalities fly off the page. I highly recommend this book to any reader who enjoys great characters and a gripping storyline.

This is my first read by this author and what a pleasant surprise it always is to discover someone else to add to my TBR pile. The couple's relationship hooked me from the beginning, I chuckled my way through their journey. Jacob is a bit of a twit, you'll want to shake him but that's the beauty of a well written book to make us feel. I won't spoil the story for you, just to say I highly recommend it. ...more

This is the first I’ve read from this author. I found her writing engaging and believable. The characters were well written with an ensemble of diverse personalities that checked all the boxes. Jacob & Lily had great chemistry, and the constant twists & turns kept me turning the page. At times I found myself extremely frustrated with the characters, but was also caught up in the romance and fantasy of falling in love with a Hollywood movie star.

A good debut novel. Looking forward to the next.

It was an okay book. The first few books we’re actually decent but the third book kind of felt like a check list already. I guess the story stretched out so much that I already knew how this would end. It may just be me cause series’ bore me that this whole story could have jus been done in one or two books. You guys should definitely check this series though and tell me what you think because everyone has their own opinion right?

Girl just give up ! The man likes his stardom more than you .

If you like the constant back and forth ( together -broken up) this is for you. I mean it’s like this every two sentences.

The characters don’t really build any kind of relationship .. they just go back and forth.. never really developing any depth..

Unfortunately I suffer from ‘if you’ve bought it you gots to finish reading it’(IYBIYGTFR) syndrome si had to push through this..

Good luck !

You will be drawn in and gently dragged to the depths of heartbreak reading this beautifully written book. The characters walk right out of the story and into your heart before you realize it. You will ache for Lilly and Jacob and pray they find each other in the end. They deserve to find love with each other if only they would let it happen. I don't know about you, but I am going to pick the next book. I have to, I'm already invested! ...more

Both Lilly and Jacob were so wishy washy, they they kept giving me whiplash but I liked Lilly a lot better than I liked Jacob. He was to shallow and selfish for me. He stated he regretted what he did but he still didn’t do anything about it. He still got his cake and yet he wanted everyone to believe he was sorry for what he did or didn’t do.
