I had a copy of this book some years ago and it was gone in one of my moves. Today I purchased a mint thrift store copy for fifty cents. I'm looking forward to re-reading it in a new century, and in the light of his grown sons, one in the New York governor's office and another son on CNN. I can also relive the election year autumn of 1982 when I worked as a broadcast station assignment editor.
Mario Matthew Cuomo served as the 52nd Governor of New York from 1983 to 1994. Cuomo became nationally known for his keynote speech at the 1984 Democratic National Convention and the subsequent speculation over the next decade that he might run for the Democratic Party nomination for President of the United States.
